It's so calming to follow you ! Thanks to you for sharing . When the system that we are living in collapses , you will live just like a king (as I see now too )
Having now lived off grid for 9 years, I find it's all about changing behaviour more than anything........ if only I could get my BnB guests to do the same. It just makes you think doesn't it. Enjoying the luxury of summer sunshine now with dishwasher and washing machine running at the same time......... such extravagance ❤️
oh my goodness. I know this vid is about solar. But I was watching to see the inside of your ute. That absolutely stunning window with all the trim it is gorgeous. thanks for sharing ✌️🥰
Recently found your channel & this solar information is great as I'm looking to do a small solar system for my RV to use off grid a few times a year and later full time living hopefully. Thanks for sharing from the SW 🇺🇸
Thanks Michael 😊 I'm mid discussion with my patrons at the moment as the whether or not to keep the text over the title sequence. The common concensus at the moment is keep the text but keep make it all white perhaps, so easier to read 🤔 I'm glad you approve though and learned something from the video 😇 A touch of the tropics would be welcome here at the moment. We've not seen evidence that the sun exists for quite a few days! 🥶😄
Thanks Andy 😊 Yeah, that thing is the epitome of decadence! A gift from my grandmother who has now downgraded to a less fancy chair to encourage her not to be lazy! 😄
That’s very informative, I have one on my stable roof for lighting however I can’t get it to work as the person who put it up for me has moved to Whitby! So I have a brand new solar panel on the roof, controller in the feed room and no one to help me make it work properly!
@@robsdiscoveryoh good idea, I’ll try and find one! It was working but it stopped charging and I don’t know why. The company who sold it to me sent me a new controller but it’s still stopped charging so somethings not right 🤦♀️
Both the geese & ducks here are native to this country so tolerate the winter pretty well. They do have shelter with deep hay bedding, should they choose to use it, but unless the nights get really bitter they usually choose to sleep outside, albeit sitting on a log or pile or warm compost 😄 Thier winter down also keeps them toasty 😌
Absolutely love your intro. It reminds me of a children's TV show from my childhood.. 😊
Thanks! I'm glad you said that, that's what I was going for 😉
Rob, thank you for this wonderful content. Please never stop this is actually the best content on RUclips
Thank you, Adham. What kind and encouraging words 😊 I'll do my best! 😄

Thank you, Tara 😊 Let's hope it doesn't come to that but yeah, you're right! 👑😆

I agree, it is about behaviour & habits more than anything else.
Extravagance indeed! 😄 Enjoy all that reliable electric 😁

Aww, thanks Ssue 😊 Do you think I should make a video specially about the yurt? 🎪🤔
@@robsdiscovery oh YES PLEASE for sure. I had to laugh at myself for putting ute 🤣🤣🤣
Righto, I shall add it to my list of winter videos to make 😊 Thanks for the idea! 💡 (I assumed you meant yurt 😉)
@@robsdiscovery t.y. I look forward to it. Have a lovely rest of the day ✌️💓

I'm so happy that this might possibly help you, Ella 😊 Have fun with your project! And your RV adventures of course 🚌😁
Love the new intro. That is a cost efficient solution and we learned a lot. Happy warm Winter from us in the tropics.

I think we could do with more of that thank you
Thanks, Mike 😊
Such a useful information! Thank you Rob!
Your videos are a pleasure to watch. Well done!
Thank you very much, Jacques! 😌
Great video again Rob. I bet there's not many yurts with electric recliners in !! Thanks for the technical bit as well.very interesting.

Well you're nearly there! I'm sure you can find someone to finish it 🤔 Or seek advice on some off-grid Internet discussion forums 😊

I do hope you find someone/some solution. It sounds too good a set up to abandon it now.. Especially at the days lengthen ☀🔋😌
For those not educated in the South West, Gurt/Gert = big, large, massive
🤣 I thought that word was universal 🙈
Do the geese and ducks need a special heating source for winter or do their houses keep them cosy or maybe special winter feathers? 🦆💕

@@robsdiscovery thank u so much for the info Rob! They are just so cute! I was watching some ducks around a pond today but it is still warm here! 🌞
💝🥰🙏
Is this a 30' yurt? Also, when you say the system cuts out, is this due to the wattage?
It's a 20' yurt, and yes because of the wattage ⚡ I think 🤔 I can't remember what I said in the video now! 😆
What country do you live in it’s very beautiful
England 🏴 😊
