Guys, can you import some AC Unity 10 rounders? The shorties from Steyr are an afterthought.
As a German from Berchtesgaden (so right at the Border with Austria) and Bundeswehr Vet, i will always be angry how the tiny Austria (which to be honest is basically Bavaria but to the South) created and still creates so many amazing Firearms!
Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
@@chartreux1532
Berchtesgaden ist wahnsinnig schee.
Das Rossfeldrennen
Please import kawatec triggers
@@roberthutchinson2856
Is he still making some? His site seemed almost like waiting for tumble weeds. Had no chance for exports sadly. I hope the corvus guys finish their trigger idea.
I met Martin once while visiting Austria Arms a few years back. I have a gun owner friend in Vienna and he invited me to go with him to Austria Arms since he needed some service on his rifle. Met Martin and had a really nice chat with him and other store employees, really great store and cool guys.
cool I have to visit there!
That kitted out 300 BO Aug is freakin amazing!
Please be patient, I have AUGtism.
@@Zach_Hazard stolen comment, feels bad..
@@dandylion1987grow up. It's not that big a deal.
@@dandylion1987grow up.
Strange seeing you here good sir
I'm AUGtistic too, and I love it!
I am heavily AUGtistic. Love that gun.
I too have severe augtism
You can make a better bullpup using the TRIAD bullpup lower and a Foxtrot Mike upper, but then again that wouldn't explain having AUGtism.
Most just have mild ARsbergers.
@StephenDavidson5359 nah most are just ret-AR-ded.
@@dogg92 go right ahead buddy.
interesting that the COBRA units run the .300blk AUG unsuppressed. I couldnt find any pics of them using a suppressor
augs dont like being supressed
Saying 'Austria Arms' is a Gun Store is a misnomer...it's a Military Armory! 💪🏼😎
I mean, they have guns, in storage....
The EKO Cobra unit he was talking about was an early adopter of the APC9 too. Those and .300BO AUG’s… Mmmmmmm
I need to buy one of their gear lockers. Thanks for the video.
And the first one was WEGA
Not a bullpup fan. But the olive green aug is augsolutely a pleasure to beheld. Just straight up amazing
Thank you, TFB TV, for such an informative video for those of us on the AUGtistic spectrum.
300 BLK for wide deployment without supressors, thats an interesting choice. Also curious that they have the 3x Mag on the 300 BLK version. Thanks for the video James.
Surprising to see the side rail on the receiver not being used on almost any of these configurations...
It used to be used quite a bit. Luckily the AUG marches on so new rail systems gave different options.
Army uses it. You can find the LLM-01 there quite often
James, you should do a NATO vs Standard AUG lower/mag video for the AUG fence sitters. Standard mags seem better but hard to overcome the stockpiles of Pmags people have too.
Wish we could get the odg receiver and optic of the army version. Appearances are important.
You can, they are released in small batches here in the US, but usually go for a premium. They have a few differences like added QD points to the optic. (Who in the hell would mount their sling to their optic?) This type of optic sits slightly lower than the standard A3 factory optic. This is so your line of sight is split more evenly between the magnified factory optic and top mounted red dot sight.
From what I've read of those that made the switch, over 75% didn't like it.
The receivers are the same across all A3 AUGs. Two bolts are all that is needed to remove to switch between optics, rails, etc.
Another sweet mounting system for A3s is made by Manticore Arms. It's a mount that mimics the look of the old school 1.5x factory scope. But you can mount the variable power optic scope of your choice.
It gives you that classic AUG look, but with a more useful 1x6, 1x8, or even 1x10 aftermarket scope. When I get an AUG, this is the version I am leaning towards.
I'm picking up my AUG today, this is a nicely timed video.
Hope you enjoy it brotha. Get the qd release for rear takedown pin/sling swivel as well.😉
Where and honestly how much
@@1olddirtroad I bought an OD Green AUG A3 M1 from Buds Gun Shop. Let’s just say it’s nicely priced right now lol. Still in stock.
@@ramuelii8845
Do you guys get chrome lined barrels atm?
I saw the AUG in a movie when I was a kid and I loved it. I am still convinced that it shoots lasers.
Keep that Aug stuff coming!
Love the corvus defensio aug trigger packs.
there is also an "A1 mod" modification which my unit rocked which was basically upgraded A1s with rails on the side and now a slightly different optic, basically for every unit that doesnt use A3s they supposed to get that mod from what i heard.
Yup TFB wrote an article about them. Noted that the A1 upgrades came with black rather than green integrated 3X scopes.
Your best videos are of the AUG variety
James bringing the much deserved AUG content
Got to be honest, that law enforcement setup is absolute peak AUG slick. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
I'm very experienced using the Aug platform during my tour of duty in 08 (back when Gen. Shepard was still at the helm)
As an Austrian i can guarantee you Austria Arms is THE gun store in Austria…been to several places but always find myself on their floormat. The Fritsch family and their competent employees make it almost impossible to leave empty handed😃💪🏽
6:15 -- As a Californian, it hurts to hear that Austrians can have larger assault-rifle magazines than me 😔
Also: maybe James should should start carrying one of those compact measuring-tapes for fishermen. Then we can know the length of rifles in Freedom Units instead of silly, complex, useless, incomprehensible Metric units.
What's a 'metric unit'?!🤔🤣😂😬
aah yes, 2024 and we still like to measure with feet and thumbs
You can own whatever you want. Take a trip to Vegas
@@Genesis23OPB -- If it's good enough for the pyramids and the moon, it's good enough for you!
@@jake9705 ancient egiptians didnt use feet and you used metric to go to the moon since lots of parts came from europe and imperial is useless with such small tolerances. also, sticking with obsolete garbage instead of better systems is retarded, you use modern guns, not flintlocks and swords, right?
gotta love AustrianArms! They are good lads
Perfect video for AUGust!
To call the wega swat is a little bit of a understatement
This is my grail gun!
Really enjoyed, thanks
The A3SF at 9:15 is my favorite looking configuration.
I hear you, James! 31 days of Hot AUGust nights!
That second one does something for me with that blocky rail. I think I need it.
I had the one with fixed sights. good gun
I would love to visit AUGstria one day
I'd probably also pick the jagdkommando, one of the best looking guns I've ever seen.
no way?! a cross over with austrian arms 😍😍😍
Cool blasters! Thanks for taking the time for a very informative video. IF ONLY you could have gotten the Australian variant to cover as well.
Echt geile Videoreihe 👏🏻🤙🏼
Wiso habts die Standart Army ned dabei ghabt ?
The army AUG with that 3x optic is incredibly based.
Is the 3X integrated optic still produced by Swarovski?
The last one is my favorite too, similar to what I own in the US, but mine is NATO spec. Takes standard MagPul GenM3 PMags, even the 60rd drums. The balance of an AUG makes for well balanced single hand shooting.
Yes it is
Damn.. This place is my ideal ‘candy’ store!
Loving all the AUG content! 😎
VERY COOL...
Cool cooperation! Greetings from Vienna!
The AUG A1 with clamp-on red dots and laser modules is still the sexiest in my opinion
This is super accurate because of what just happened at the taylor swift concert and showing the specialist police using their AUGs
My most used on Black Ops 1
Dude in thumbnail, that holding angle is giving me Super Saiyan carpal tunnel
AUGsome video!
Great insight on the AUG!
Gotta go through the Tavor series at IWI
We got the barrel already!! I’m getting ready to get my back up barres for 5.56 and the 300blk. I love my Aug. but I wouldt make it as heavy as the special forces police one with the extra rail weight and the lower rail for the grip.. the gun is not light with a 3x and a red dot already… I know… but just lift weights I guess. Lol
The AUG, dawg.
That wall of guns though 😩
Could you continue with a review of the Steyr 762 DMR together with Martin ? Would be great ! Best regards from 🇦🇹 ..
have you ever done a video on the construction of the gear storage in the back? sorry but you guys have a million videos and i havent found one sifting through your past stuff
I wonder what unit/dept in Austria is using the newer M2 handguard?
Damn it.. This video just cost my 1k! from Steyr Arms INC.. They have all the goodies include .300blk barrels:)
That is 15inchs my man, an inch MATTERS!
"we are doing this since over ten years ..." Aaaargh! Oida!
When can we expect the video on the LTT PX4 Thunder Ranch course? Really looking forward to that one!
~1 week
Loved the video. Question though, the regular police rifle, is it semi only?
Will you be checking out the new Desert Tech WLVRN?
What!?!!;? Beautiful shop
AUG.ust video drop!
I see the little plate that blocks the ejector on the unused side and it makes me think like why not make a plate that doubles as a tacticool cheek rest? People would buy that (Edit spelling)
That steyr made rail with the built in sights are definitely on my wish list!❤
Arid and corvus are honestly carrying at this point
That thumbnail at first glance made me think you bubba’d the hell out of that thing lmao
Ok, 300 blk AUG? That sounds awesome.
Austria Arms: a Fudd free zone. All tactical, all the time.
I would live an AUG my favorite model was the Austrian counter terrorism unit, the Aistrian special operations unit one is very interesting but practical.
If steyr is listening please please release a left handed model in the NATO version
not a fan of AUGs but I will leave a comment and a like for the algorithm
James can u make another micro tavor video? I need more content to push me to buy the damn SBR conversion kit.
Huh, never thought about 5.56 guns like the AUG ever being in 300BLK.
File this under "more stuff I'll never be able to afford." Very cool though. Austrians are always ahead of everyone else. The AUG is STILL ahead of it's time almost 50 years after introduction.
YES!
AUG the best rifle imo
So at the risk of asking a dumb question: What is the purpose of the velcro strap around the body of the gun under the rear of the rail?
Go TFB TV!
Never had one nor shot one. I just have the Croatia ghetto bull pup. 😛
Does it run good
i'm so jelly
Need to visit Australia and visit thales....
Underworld arms AUG parts review??
Remember when microtech (knife co) made an Aug?
@tfbtv are those police/military AUGs setup meant to be ran with suppressors or exactly as configured?
Standard police and WEGA as shown. Cobra and Jagdkommando have options
Love the AUG and have been wanting to get another for the past couple years but have been holding off due to the stocks. Are they having any issues with stock cracking in Europe or is that just in the US?
I know a bunch of Austrian aug owners and I have never heard of anyone’s stock cracking.
So it seems like that’s an American issue, but also it sounds like something that’s probably covered by the warranty.
Some of those look heavy AF. Def has a certain drippyness to it though.
Nahhhhh I want that rheinmetal laser that’s dope
Missed the chance to call it 'The AUGs of War'.
1:00 glock 18 3 of them! sheesh
AUGument in the alternative
Give us a parts list so we can clone the configuration............ thanks!!
You so could of named this "The AUGS of war"!
AUGtoberfest came early this year
Wiener Einsatz Gruppe Alarm 😄
Shoulda said "gesundheit" at 6:01
lol
What is the purpose of the velcro strap between the pistol grip and magazine?
It's for the Rifle Sling to store it
Sling Keeper from Black Trident
That thumbnail looks unironically like those Tarkov / mall ninja too many accessories meme build, until you look at every front lens of each optic / light / laser and it's actually not that outrages.
I don't think I ever heard you discuss this, but are accessories for the different models available to buy for Americans if they travel to Austria? Are they hard to bring back? IOW, if someone had the cash and wanted to take a trip there and spend it, can they do that? Should I sell my Mercedes?
Generally you can buy anything here.
Only the barrel, bolt and magazines over 10rds require a license, but all other parts are freely available.
However there are a bunch of customs regulations in Austria and the US that might cause you quite the headache if you try to take such items in your airplane luggage.
But there are companies that specialise in importing/exporting firearms and firearm accessories, so you could try to hire one of those to do everything for you.
Sorry, James. _AUGs of War_ 👊😎
