And that my friend is the reason why i love this movie. Not only the post apocalyptic it plays in, but because of its main character. Broken, hollow inside and still on his path into Insanity. Because he cant find peace with himself and let go the ghosts of the past. And with all that suffering he still manages to preserve some of his humanity in saving others (which only fills the emptyness inside him temporarly). Man, i love this character...
