I honestly can't believe Fredi Gonzalez would even show his face in that scuffle on the infield, a former braves manager defending a clearly malicious pitch against the Braves, a team that gave him everything he has in the MLB. Its just shameful. Amazingly Acuna has given me a new hope for this Baby Braves team, being from Atlanta and experiencing all the years of mediocrity, Acuna is a fresh breath into what could be seen as the evolution into the next The Team Of the 90s.

It's one thing for a team to hit a player if they stood there and showed up the pitcher after hitting a home run before, Like Dietrich of the Reds did the other day. He deserved worse than he got (the Pirates tried to hit him up and in). He stood there admiring his HR longer than I've ever seen any player do. But when the Marlins hit Acuna it was complete garbage. Since when does a guy destroying your pitching in the batters box, getting hits and home runs all over the place equal disrespect and deserve getting hit? The pitcher should have been suspended a lot longer and the manager should have been too. Baseball needs to address the issue of suspensions. As it stands right now it heavily favors pitchers (especially starting pitchers). If they get suspended for even 10 games, that really means they're only suspended for 2 games as they only play every fifth game. Whereas a position player plays nearly every day.

Sorry to say, but this is a really poorly edited video. The transitions from one game to another were invisible. Often I thought I was watching a replay when it was a whole new game. The first two "first pitch" HRs were not even identified as such until the announcer said it right before the 3rd one. And WAY too much time spent on the HBP aftermath. That whole section could have been condensed by 10 minutes easily. Just a really bad way to highlight such a phenomenal run of HRs.

They have the team to do it. They can be extremely lethal and guys are playing for a postseason spot right now. They play good on the road anyways and the NL playoff teams such as the Dodgers, Rockies, Cubs, Brewers, and Cardinals are going to be tired with having to secure a spot in the last week of the season. I'm watching the Rockies game against the Phillies and rooting for the Cards and Rockies to put the Dodgers out of the postseason.

Don't get me wrong, what Urena did was Bush League and he's a joke. But as much as I hate what he did, I really hope the Braves didn't retaliate ny hitting a Marlins hitter during the next inning or later in the game. I Honestly forgot if they did, and I know Acuna Jr. got his revenge the next game. But I think the whole unwritten rule of "you hit my guy, I hit your guy. After that, we can move on and play."
I think unwritten rules like that are ruining baseball right now. Present & Future major leaguers tend to have much bigger egos & bravado on them. Especially compared to how Baseball used to be played. Take Bryce Harper & Manny Machado for example. People have bash them just because they play with that swagger. Get them out and they'll STOP .D
