Seriously.... My all time favorite genre is metalcore... But orbit culture has some of the sickest and most epic grooves I've ever came across.. Its like when you combine slayer... Metallica.... And some of death metals finest bands into one package... And put it behind a solid mixing and mastering kit..... All of their songs are just pure groove from start to finish... There is no let up for a second... And when they do... They smash the listener with their relentless attack.... Check out saw.... It's a slaughter from start to finish
Great new tune, can't rave enough about these guys. Their album "Nija" was last year's album of the year for me. Young blokes blending styles to create a cool, refreshing sound. I've heard people describe them as Hetfield fronting Gojira, or Chuck Billy (Testament) fronting Meshuggah. Great reaction, guys! Can't wait for you to hear more from Orbit Culture, as I recommend "Redfog" and "Behold"! Cheers!
Great 10/10 You REALLY should check out "Way of the Masses" & "Redfog" The other bonustrack of NIJA is "Wargblod" (wolfesblood) and it rips a hole in the fabric of time.....
metallica are their gods, its normal to remind you of them, from a musicianship point of view they remind me of Gojira also, they have such a technical skill and compositions
YESSSSS! So glad you guys checked this out. The vocalist has said in numerous interviews that James Hetfield is one of his biggest inspirations, he even plays the Explorer style guitars. The also draw influence from bands like Gojira, Lamb of God, and Meshuggah. You guys need to check out Nensha, the first in the trilogy of Nensha, Rebirth, and The Shadowing. Also need North Star of Nija and Open eye!
Wait wait wait... you two haven’t covered these guys before? Holy crap. You’re in for a damn TREAT. Their last album “Nija” released last year was my AOTY. Want a video that will blow your mind? Look for the live version of “The North Star of Nija”. And then buckle in. Their older content (you’ll get a lot of folks recommending “Saw”) is good as well, but they definitely took it up a notch of late. Welcome to my current favorite metal band.
YES! This song is killer! And don't worry about going not chronological. All of their songs I've heard so far are bangers. Also the video is a-w-e-s-o-m-e (but I really love VFX stuff)!
Redfog by Orbit Culture probably has my favorite breakdown in last part of the song. So good I mosh every time I hear it. My wife and kids think I'm crazy, but that won't stop me jamming out to Redfog! lol!
North Star of Nija is a must (just watch the live session), same with Nensha. If you want just flat out Metallica vibe good time then Open Eye is a banger. They did a cover of Metallica's Hardwired which is amazing too.
“North Star of Nija” has the nastiest break down around the 3:00 mark
