Old video but for those looking for one this appears to be a clone. Besides “FUTURA”across back as others have noted that should read FALCON” instead, this car has a manual choke knob which was only fit to I6 cars. All Sprints had V8 and all V8 Falcons (Sprint, Futura, and Ranchero) had an automatic choke with a block off plug (count knobs to right of steering wheel, you see 5 you are looking at a I6 car).
63.5 Had A 260,2 Barrel,This Eng.Has Been Upgraded to 289 ,4 Barrel or 302.Real Sprints Had Falcon ,on Back Tail llLite Panel,NOT FUTURA.Friend of Mine in HS Had One,Traded His 55 Silver Blue Chevy,W/An Upgraded 327,W/ Roll + Pleated Interior for It ,Which Would Probably Be Worth Little More Today, Than the SPRINT,But Not By Much.
No such thing as a 1963 1/2, the 1/2 year designation was ONLY for the Mustang which came out in 1964 1/2. Also the Futura is NOT a Sprint, the Falcon Sprint was. The Sprint was the car that ford used in 1964 1/2 to make the Mustang, which was just a Sprint with a body change.
Actually no such thing as a 64.5 Mustang, they are all registered as 65s. Yes, you can tell these early Mustangs by several things including use of generator but the 64.5 thing was invented by public not Ford…and 63.5 is a true thing for Falcons (Galaxies and Fairlanes too) as Ford did a late 63 release, advertising used 63.5 and all are registered as 63s because all three cars changed in 64.

the first sprint is a 63.1/2 i have one.
Had an Australian built "64 version fitted with 302 small block Windsor. This fine example would have made a nice sister car.

I can see the car has a V8 in it! Is it a secret what CID it is, and how about the gear ratio, that a secret too?
beautiful, some amazing work.. only one complaint though... its not mine.

Falcon & Comet hardtop V8 cars came out mid-year, 1963 before Mustang came out mid-year 1964. 1963 1/2, 1964 1/2.
