As awesome as Finlay is, the Lands Between was more... intact when she carried Malenia back. It was still an insane distant, but there uneven terrain and broken bridges wouldn't have been as severe. You can tell how long its been by looking at the rot that has overtaken Caelid. The battle ended in Aeonia, and the rot has consumed the entire dragonbarrow.
One can imagine the true horror of the armies of the shattering when going up against an entire army of cleanrot knights when ONE of them is capable of this.

I am incredibly impressed that you actually took the time to do this and that you did it without even opening the map. I would have gotten lost in like 10 minutes.
The beginning place is probably wrong. I'm pretty sure they didn't fight in Radahn's arena. They fought in Swamp of Aeonia which is why that place looks the most messed up out of all Caelid. That's where Malenia first bloomed.

I doubt there is a way to midroll or even just fatroll. But...there are people thatve besten the game while overloaded, so If youre up for the Challenge...
@morgenrotritter-8608 The jar is just to have something on the back as representative of Melenia. Alternatively, you could have a greatshield of any kind, but unless you know an Elden Ring chest armor with a body sized backpack that looks similar to cleanrot armor, I think sticking to 1 weapon slot is fair for the run/walk, especially if we assume (for suspension of disbelief) that finlay had to also carry the prosthetics with the other hand.
For those wondering, considering all the turns, that's somewhere between 16 to 24 kilometers of walk (or roughly a half-marathon), enduring hardships, the tiredness of battle, the weight of a very big person on your shoulders, with probably a lot of people hunting you (Godrick would almost certainly be willing to send forces to try and capture Malenia after she humiliated him in her campaign towards Caelid, which was probably just a few days before her battle with Radahn, and I wouldn't be surprised if Mohg sent some of extremely powerful blood knights and bloody fingers to prevent her from ever retrieving Miquella). Finlay is one heck of a sis if I've ever seen one.
the lore of the Altus Plateau lift is its medallions had been lost and many forget that it even needed a medallion. so finlay wouldnt have used that, in addition the leyndel capital is occupied by enemies so how malenia got to cealid from the haligtree is as unknown as the path that finlay took back

If there was an Elden Ring show, Finlay's journey would have about as much dedication to it as it gets in the game. There's so much lore to Elden Ring that they would have to skip past barely relevant side characters- unless you'd want to wait until season 26 before the arc would even begin.
Friendly reminder according to the DLC Miquella was in Caelid curing a RANDOM ENEMY SOLDIER rather than attending his own sister. FINLAY TRAVELLED AND CARRIED MALENIA ALONE
There's 3 Giga Chads in ER. Radahn, Hourah Loux and Finlay. One is a Demigod, the other is the first Elden Lord. And the last? Technically the journey would have started in the Heart of Aeonia, Radahn was poisoned there and simply moved to the wilds later on to die as his last piece of mental ability faded, but he didn’t.
Imagine doing all of this and then, not getting a promotion. Miquella pats you on the back, says "I appreciate it, G", and then sends you back to the frontlines.....
I like how when you first hear the story of Finley you're like aw, that's sweet And then you see Melania's character model and realize that she is one *b i g b!tch* and probably weighs like 250lb, all muscle
The one part of this I find the most unbelievable is going through Leyndell while at war with them, like strolling through the entire front gates as an enemy combatant with a hostile armies queen/general etc.

Spoilers: In the DLC, we find out that the whole scenario was Miquella's fault. He sent Malenia to kill Radahn for his ascension plot because he had to die to become a perfect consort but he also wanted a warrior's death.

A more intact land also means that there were probably more enemy troops still sane enough to be threats.

The beginning place is probably wrong. I'm pretty sure they didn't fight in Radahn's arena. They fought in Swamp of Aeonia which is why that place looks the most messed up out of all Caelid. That's where Malenia first bloomed.
in the cinematic it definitely looks like the battlefield where you fight Radahn. He went crazy after Malenia bloomed so he probably stayed in the same place
@@gooseball100 No it's really the Swamp of Aeonia. Thats where you also find the Broken Needle that Malenia broke to bloom. Not Radahn's arena. I might just do that challenge. I still need to get a scythe tho
@@Doktor_Lutscher i Imagine she carries Malenia on her back in some kind of towel or straps she found on the Battlefield. She used her weapons with great skill, so theres no need for a switcheroo.
Besides, youd have a massive Canon that you cant use (actually, you can just shoot malenia to the haligtree with it, lol) alongside 3 other weapons + Armor.
0:16 Finlay learns to walk on water 👍
It's when the boss music starts
Finlay is one heck of a sis if I've ever seen one.

the lore of the Altus Plateau lift is its medallions had been lost and many forget that it even needed a medallion. so finlay wouldnt have used that, in addition the leyndel capital is occupied by enemies so how malenia got to cealid from the haligtree is as unknown as the path that finlay took back

awesome! my only complaint is that I'm pretty sure Finlay took the ruined precipice up to Altus, not the lift of dectus.
I like how when you first hear the story of Finley you're like aw, that's sweet
And then you see Melania's character model and realize that she is one *b i g b!tch* and probably weighs like 250lb, all muscle
The one part of this I find the most unbelievable is going through Leyndell while at war with them, like strolling through the entire front gates as an enemy combatant with a hostile armies queen/general etc.
Imagine going through a terrifyingly long, grueling journey, defeating all enemies along your path, out of loyalty to your sovereign, and dying after due to the injuries, strain, and disease inflicted before and along the way. And then a few decades after your death, some filthy tarnished comes in and says that you're just gay. Come on bro.
