Yes sir, the pasture is very green on the other side, and I speak from personal experience. I am 45 years old this year and the best decision I’ve ever made was to leave Nigeria about twelve years ago. I thank God everyday that left that place. That country nearly killed me with frustration and hopelessness.
To every young Nigerian reading this, I have only one advice for you. LEAVE NOW!

The fact that he is reporting from victoria island and not okomaiko or agege says it all.The only decent place in lagos is the island basically..A country that the governments doesn't even understand how to regenerate a city, nevermind citizen development. The governors collect company tax, they collet VAT.collect POS tax, collect federal allocation yet the city and country is a shanty no infrastructures.Nigerians provide basic infrastructures for themselves from drinking water,to healthcare to electricity etc.

Instead of waiting for the youth to just run away, why don't the useless government leaders just start developing several government-backed trade schools and well-paying agricultural and industrial programs that educate and engage these restless youth before they flee by providing a form of useful and honorable nation-building skills that will enrich every aspect of Nigeria and her people.
I mean, this is a very easy fix if the Nigerian leadership is willing to create these nation-enriching projects for building sound buildings, and for creating useful and beneficial industries that will restore this country's dignity and self reliance. Ijs! WAKE UP, NIGERIA!

I agree that the grass looks greener on the outside side, however when one is on that other side, with focus, determination, and hard work…….the resources put in place by credible institutions will work for you, and your dedication will pay off. The average Nigerian youth is industrious and full of ingenuity but the system has failed the youths severally
Nigeria lacks the basics that will help the young to grow.
