Wow that back has some really great looking grain it!!! Damn, the entire body looks great front and back, the neck looks like a marbled maple also. Gorgeous! The black locking Sperzel tuners are a perfect finish too!
really nice job done on the guitar, I wanted to do exactly what You've done!!! So I know now how my te52 will look like. THANKS!!! I will be going to upgrade pickups. Good job.
lol got a bunch of messy shirts too I only wear to work on guitars cuz I know I'm going to ruin it with stain, finish and glue. Guitar looks beautiful man! Excellent job my friend!
@@billy1858 yeah you will need vintage tuners for it. Otherwise buy a reamer & ream them out to 10 mm easily. I had the neck on mine twist so I replaced it with a better quality asian neck with 10 mm tuner holes so wasnt a issue later. :) And your welcome n glad to help you !! :)
That's come out pretty well Terry, I must say. The black bridge and tuners definitely give it a moodier look. If you're trying to get the action lower but the saddles are already bottomed out, maybe a very small shim in the neck pocket under the end of the neck heel would help?
thank you .... I wanted to make it abit more "unique" with the black hardware on it. And yes thats possible, also could be i just need to remove some poly off of the heel too .. :)
HEY !! Long time no see !! :D I had the neck twist on me not long after that which I dont know if it was like that already or when I refinished it. BUT I scored a $34 can asian produced tele neck to replace it & has been on it since!! ALOT of folks have been getting them from thomann for i think there around $50 more now but getting quality/nice looking ones still. Hope you've been well, take care !!
ty again & its honestly almost about the same ... lol the only major diffrence I notice is the brass adds some more sustain/treble sound acoustically. BUT will say the tuner upgrade + bridge definately added tuning stability for sure !! :)

Yeah this was a awesome guitar for 2016 the original that is. And the locking tuners are actually from guitar fetish !! LOL :)
I would have never noticed your shirt. You don't owe us an explanation. Cool content.
I appreciate that!
@@Terry3Gs it ain't no thing. Hope all is good.

Thank you & np .... and yes if it has the newer rosewill pups they might want to be changed out. :)

ty randy sir.
Nice job! It came out great!
ty matt !! :)
could the scratchplate be changed with one from a fender tele ?
Plausable .. most of the pickguards are around the same spec. But be aware it may not.
hi ,can you remember if the tuning peg holes were 8mm or 10mm. cheers!
Thanks for the view/question .. yes i had to enlarge them on this neck for 10 mm tuners. :)
thanks for reply! il see if I can find some smaller diameter.

LOVE THE HARLEY MY FRIEND !!
Looks good! Nice job.
ty =)
you sawed of the ugly drop thing from the headstock?
Good to see you got it back together with some upgrades Terry.
ty dale ... yeah definately feels diffrent now for sure !! hehe he :P
Headstock looks really cool with the burnt in Logo. Fender did it to their rosewood neck guitars!

Mission accomplished :)
Is it necessary to change the tuners on the te-52?
I just ordered one.
I didnt have to but I had black locking ones laying around so I went with a diffrent theme insted of ordering chrome
It definitely makes the bridge pop. You did a good a job.
I was curious. Cheers.
@@HavendaleBlvd80 Thank you & np :)

Good Job Terry! I like it! Jealous of the tuners... ;)
Oh yeah the Golden Wheat was a perfect choice for sure.. How do you like the compensated Wilkensen bridge? Intonation easy to get near perfect?
LOL thanks Dan :P
