It's 2019 and we have nothing that look like those "neon night riders"
give it a few months, maybe something will happen?
@@chriscombs21886 hahahaha ok
Almost there...
It's 2020 now and we still don't have that.
Nope we look nothing like Neon Night Riders. We only have those lime electric scooters
I loved how in old games bosses would flash red when their health was low🤣
iz thefaithful imagine if that happened in real life
Konami did that in almost all their arcade games!
Arcade bosses flashed for one reason. They had an indicator that they were close to dying, which made players more reckless so they could finish the fight faster. Of course, usually the bosses got smarter and faster as the fight progresses, introducing newer techniques.
This was all done so the player could attack without hesitation, which resulted in player damage, which resulted in loss lives, which resulted in an artificial means of making more quarters being pumped in since they're so close to beating that boss.
If the boss had no such indicator, the player had all the time in the world to be patient, strategic, and smarter with their lives. The arcade devs who dangle "you can finish this fight" in front of the player can squeeze out more money.
@@Supperdude9 Damn. Smart.
@@user-BAKEDBEANS The arcade industry had a lot of tricks they used. Like some brawlers had enemies laugh at the downed player if the continue screen was up, forcing you to get back in. And some bosses had IK moves to force more quarters.
I never realized how different this is from the Super NES version.
The arcade version came first. The snes version came a year later.
And became much better
SNES version is better with some additional bosses that were not in the arcade. I was pleasantly surprised when I was a kid that Rat King, Slash, Pirate Bebop & Rocksteady were in the SNES.
@@cmdrjanjalani dont forget the shredder boss fight before he sent you in time when you had to throw the foot soldiers at him and the super shredder boss fight and tokka and razar in the tecnodrome
@@Jaymcgom89 Thankfully, the grab is far more consistent in the SNES version
"Hey Krang! Bring that statue back! April's rack was on full display!!!"
Ive spilled more seed than Muhammad Ali at a bird feeder over April O'Neil.
Krang:You mangy turtles want the statue back come and get it if you dare
Kang:Face the wrath of Super Krang!
@@johngaddis697 That ain't right! 😂
I can't believe that only just now did I notice Krang's corpse in the wreckage of his little ship.
Me neither
I had the SNES port and it was so fantastic, it also included some extra bosses and another level.
The only thing is that cement man wasn't used and you can only play with 2 players
Pingüino S Castillo Herrera funny thing is, there was an adapter for 4 players
Losing Cement Man wasn't a big deal when he got replaced by the badass Slash instead.
@@Bloodreign1 I guess that's a good point
Cement man is trash nobody likes cement man
Who wants pizza? :)
COWABUNGA! Great playthrough as always man
With extra cheese. 8)
i want it without pepperoni please,i'm vegetarian xD
Pizza time!
MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I WANT A LARGE CHEESE PIZZAAAAAAA
Few differences from the SNES version.
1. Rat King is the boss of Sewer Surfing.
2. The SNES has a whole extra stage after the sewers. It's the Techno Drome and it has two bosses. Toka and Razar followed by a Shredder room boss that you have to throw foot bots at the screen to beat.
3. Slash is the boss of the prehistoric level.
4. Leatherhead doesn't use knives all the time, only for 1 attack.. He also has a cool attack where he crawls on the floor like a real alligator.
5. Beebop and Rocksteady are the bosses of the pirate level and are actually dressed as pirates.
6. Shredder turns into Super Shredder as the final boss. Also he does not use light saber.
That's really weird. I distinctly remember playing in the Arcades and Bebop and Rockseady were the pirate bosses and on the SNES it was Tokka and Razer
6:42 Leatherhead: Oh goodie, fresh turtle for lunch!
Oooh so this is what happened with re shelled. They based it off the arcade version. Well that's stupid
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve played this since it was released in the Cowabunga Collection. It’s a great pickup and put-down before work in the morning!
Baxter seems be much more resilient than the other bosses.
I think he has longer invincibility frames than some of the bosses
From this No Damage Boss Run, I see timing is everything if you want to move in for an attack.
Man...I like this intro's music.
That intro song is the only good thing about the COMING OUT OF OUR SHELLS tour they had back in the '90's . You can youtube search for it and trust me you will laugh your ass off at what you see .
@@sammylane21 No lie, my friend had the VHS version!
Loved this game I remember that intro song the turtles in concert coming out our shells found that tape at a yard for $1 :)
Thankfully Cement Man was replaced with Slash in the home port of the game for the SNES. Slash to me is far more memorable than Cement Man.
I gotta say..Metalhead's tornado kick is sick as fuuuuuck.
at first I was completely dumbstruck over being all the bosses without getting hit... Then I remembered the arcade version didn't have Slash
The arcade version didn't have Slash or Bebop and Rocksteady
Right, it got Cement Monster instead of Slash. It got Tokka and Razar instead of Bebop and Rocksteady.
And the Rat King in Sewer Surfing
Shadowserg also has a video of beating the SNES version’s bosses without taking damage.
As much as I love this game the SNES version has the better bosses (Slash and Pirate Bebop and Rocksteady)
Ironically Slash in the game is bad ass, while in the 80's cartoon he kinda sucked
Badass? he's THAT one boss
+FuegoNintendo he was in TMNT 3 the Manhattan Project as a mid level boss.
Volt5302 The arcade has more visuals and animation effects quality, but the snes has better contents and soundeffects
I love this arcade, but the snes is the superior version easily.
I swear if it wasn't for Shredder changing color I would have thought he was blocking every attack.
Ah man, I remember this. Used to play it at a bowling alley when I was a wee boy. Said alley burnt down, taking the machine with it.. really sad that I never got to beat it.
MatteomaxM you can get to play the Emulated version on Vizzed.com tell them JahEmperah sent you.
Last and only machine of TiT I ever got to play was at one of my local Play N Trades, they likely still have it in there too. Was a dedicated TiT cabinet too.
I like how the white blob monster only appeared in one episode of the cartoon and he made it into a boss here. Nice attention to detail!
It’s like Rahzar and Tokka they only appeared once in the original cartoon in the seventh season in 1993 same with Dirtbag and Groundchuck who were all 4 bosses in the Turtles 3 The Manhattan Project game for the original NES
No one is gonna talk about that people from the 90s are now disappointed we still don't have working hoverboards even now? lol
Good old TMNT committing fratricide against Tokkar.
You mean that "ugly excuse for a turtle"?
@Drew G ha ha lol you're right :D
I had to look that up, lol!
I'm so glad the Pizza Monsters were included in this game, that was always my favorite episode of the show
For me, this is a timeless game. It never loses its greatness.
The Shredder fight would’ve been more awesome of at half way, Shredder goes Super Shredder and moves twice as fast
I don't remember the aracde having voices snippets and music intro. Thats dope.
I'll be 36 in August . How old are you
We're in 2020 now... neon night riders! Cool
Eight days and we'll get our own night riders!
We need sequels using these same graphics, with more levels, bosses and original voices from the 90s arcade games. Would be nice. Kind of like we have new games based on NES 8 bit graphics but using more sources to pull off cool effects in those style of graphics.
I like the Guffaw sound when the Bosses get hit on the SNES Version better than the Cardbox Arcade sound.
That sound effect is epic!! Lol
Remember back in days take me lot of GAME TOKENS to beat it when I gone to the ARCADES this version of the game is better than SNES version
Well gee, several hundreds of dollars hardware versus a cheaper hardware made for the home market. Nah, that can't be it, now can it. SNES version improves on the game by making the time trip for the turtles make more sense (Shredder has enough when you are in the sewer? Nah beat his ass on his own turf, then he has a good excuse to send you back in time), more bosses, and a longer overall game with the home version. Plus hey, you only had to pay for it once, and not have coins gobbled up by an arcade machine that is programmed to take as much money from you as you are willing to give it (Simpson's and the first Turtles arcade game were also similar in this way).
Arcade has better sound and graphics, but overall the SNES is better with Bebop and Rocksteady, Rat King, fighting Shredder and Super Shredder as well as the Technodrome level. Main advantage the arcade has is 4 players, but I prefer the SNES version. I also say the damage sound effect is more satisfying in the SNES version. When you hit bosses in the arcade, most of them sound as if they are made of water, which doesn't sound appropriate to me. It feels and sounds more satisfying in the SNES version for enemies and bosses.
Best. Beat'em Up. EVER!
Even better than *STREETS OF RAGE 2?* 😳
@@edwardgaines6561 easily better than streets of rage 2! a lot of top 10 best beat em up list has turtles in time as number 1.
The "Prehistoric Turtlesauras" makes way more sense in the SNES version, I mean Slash is pretty much the visual description of a "prehistoric like creature".
Holy Crap! I never knew there was a theme song!
First and second and final scene was in 1991 or 1992 while others such as BC250000000 in Pre-History as well as AD1622 in Pirates Seas among with AD1903 in Arizonian Steampunk with AD2048 in Future Manhattan and AD2151 in Colonized Mars.
My favorite ninja turtles villains are shredder and Baxter stockman
They left some interesting things out of 2020 "neon night riders"....😔😔😔
The game is now on sale: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Shredder's Revenge
Top twenty greatest arcade game ever just my opinion.
nice boss run man keep it up
1: Pregnant Ninja vs Bigfoot
2: Two Pregnant Ninjas vs Bigfoot
3: Five Pregnant Ninjas vs Bigfoot
(Different versions of my video game idea)
(If you think I'm weird, I can assure you I am 100000% mentally fine)
8:32 Krang’s robot thinks he’s Donkey Kong.
I like everything about the arcade version more except when a boss gets hit. It's super satisfying on consoles.
you're the master of no damage run.
I love how in the thumbnail’s picture it looks looks like Splinter is about to whack Mikey upside the head XD !
when Shredder faces one way, he holds his sword in his right hand. when he faces the other way, he holds his sword in his left- he's ambidextrous! Yes, I know it's an old game, I'm just saying.
Me And Julio: All
The Time (2007)
Girl: I Don't Need You This Planet Doesn't Need You Nobody Will Miss You And Nobody Will Care
Did James and the gang really agree to do this?
(Clicks pen) Gonna chalk up 2020 as another year we got horribly wrong.
The rare instance where the home console port was superior to the arcade original in so many ways. Still a great game, though.
This game was hard as f@%&! Never found a way to finish it w/o various credits.
Lots complain that cement man was stupid to be put in but at least he’s easier than slash.
One of the best games to date 👍👍👍👍
No bebop and rocksteady? The snes version was better honestly, but htis game looks cool despite that
I've always agreed. SNES actually improved on this game...
SNES was way better
This version is more accurate with the movie.
The SNES version had way more content and better bosses, but the arcade is still technically better with music, graphics and game mechanics. I wish we could have the levels and bosses of the SNES version with the game mechanics and visuals of the arcade.
Is there a SNES version of Turtles in time?
I really miss the day's at the arcade
I didn’t play the original, cuz I wasn’t alive yet.. but my cousin had the respelled game and we would just grind that game
I need to get me some MAME again (if that still exists) and play these games. I played them as young kid in arcades, then on arcade emulators as a teenager..think it’s time to play them again :)
Urgh, the sound effects are all over the place. It seems the person who did the sound designer just smeared the stock audio all over without even having watched an episode of TMNT.
Intro's soundtrack is very good
So Many Things That This Version Don’t Have
1: The Technodrome Level
2: No Slash In The Turtlesaurs
3: The Rat King
4: Bebop And Rocksteady Are Replaced With Tokka And Rahzar
And no Super Shredder either.
See? What I noticed wit Leatherhead in da SNES version is he runs from da left side backwards! Here in da arcade (I never touched da arcade), he's standing against da wall waiting 4 his "prey!" Y could they not have animated da SNES version da same way? I'd say similar things about da "reshelled" version also.
Remember that unexplainable good feeling. When you put your quarter in arcade game.🙄
I remember this.
The only thing I'll give the arcade version over the SNES version is the greater variety in attacks. You never see kicks while the turtles are on the ground.
Also, the Rat King. Arcade is totally missing him.
Man that Muck creature use to fill me with so much rage!
*8:00** We here.*
I used to play this all of the time!! Turtle Power!!
3:32 years
there are more arcade version of this game? becouse as far i can remember i used to play a way diferent game in the arcade then this.
Love how the mud boss explodes when defeated.
I had this game on Sega but it was a different version. I mean lots of it were same, but some levels and bosses are different or look different. I think it was called turtles hyperstone hyist.
In times like this the turtles went through time defeated every enemy and shredder and now the save the day
I notice your striking with a different attack each time
Like you don't repeat attacks is that the key??
Will you play Sonic Mania when it comes to pc?
I understand how Gen. Slag and his partner could explode but just how da faq does Mud man blow up , huh ?? And how did Stockman get out of his pod before it blew up also , huh ??
7:41 UUUURGH
Did he just finish my childhood's toughest battle in 13 minutes...?
I was born in 1991 when this game came out I love this game I love myself.
The SNES version was far superior in every way. Bosses made a lot more sense, as did the story
He stole our liberty but we got it back!
"Big Apple, .. 3'am"
No cabe duda que en snes es la mejor versión...
Damn I wonder what happened in our time line to prevent us from having that sweet neon 2020 .
BlurryFace the USA 🇺🇸 school sucks at growing and matriculating young kids into engineers and scientists.
More bodies mean more brain-power to collaborate solve issues faster and better,
When I was collecting Turtles (prior to this game's release), Metalhead was good. Does this battle take place in a time before that happened? Either way, he exploded at the end of the fight, so I'm curious as to their logic behind this.
Why did they make the hurt sound for bosses bubbles?
When play with 4 player together. It will gonna be a mess..
This may not work unless they are already trained like you XD.
I only came here for the arcade boss theme sound.
11:36 combination with ninja gaiden boss theme
Yadude!! Arcade version has more stuff than SNES (which I played) and much more than Genesis version!
Same way with Turtles 2 for Arcade had better graphics etc then the Turtles 2 game for the original Nintendo NES but it was still a classic game at the time.
The army of foot soilder and rocksoilder in this game is harder than most of the bosses
Tokka y rahzar me agradan
Man... Baxter was annoying as hell!
Well unless you and your pals were doing two turtles on the front and two on the back, GIVE HIM NO TIME TO REACT!
Hmm, never knew this came out on arcade; always assumed the SNES version was the original.
Slash is one of the hardest bosses ever
Is it me or does Shredder look super easy?
They should have made him do a One-Winged Angel by changing into Super Shredder.
I think there are internal difficulty settings and with more players he is tougher. Watch some videos with 4 turtles, he is way more resistant to hitstun and has more health.
diseasicon Correct. A majority of 4-player games, mainly Konami ones, bump up the difficulty whenever there are more players present.
Play freedom planet all bosses with no damage
You must have taken damage because you started with 22 going against the Crocodile, and started with 20 against Krang.
