Hi.. I was there that day..I live in Prescott Arizona..fire was a few miles down the road..came home turned on Television ..19 missing in Yarnell... 19 lost..I knew 4 and their families.. I watched 19 hearses drive down main street to the cemetery..the first monsoon storm of the season came while fire was burning and hotshots on site..the wind changed..they were trapped.. Braedon survived... I lived 1 block away from station 7 their home base...the fence around the station was the memorial site,, covered in flowers,, posters pictures... met fire fighters from all over the world who came to pay respects and grief.. the town was never the same.. my heart will never be the same.. thank you for watching and honoring our guys..Granite Mountain Hotshots...
We’re very sorry. It’s a true tragedy 💔
Only the Brave ..men and women all over the world saving lives and homes.. thank you for your heartfelt reaction to this film.... @@myegyptiandadreacts4824
thanks to utube reactions now a father and son in another country can see the story of these men..and be reminded of the bravery and sacrifice of fire fighters worldwide...alot of devastating fires this year in places that have never experienced them before..Only The Brave.peace to you and yours...@@myegyptiandadreacts4824
May their bravery be forever remembered 🙏
Were they really trapped between the fires and just stayed there and lost their lives? Like in the movie? This was the worst way of dying. Something similar happened in Greece few years ago. 100 people were burnt alive on a cliff because they were trapped during the fire, they hugged each other and were burnt alive. There were kids, parents and grandparents. Very horrible story.
The first time I watched this movie , I had no idea about the story. At the end, I was really worried that Miles Tellers character was gonna die. When I finally saw what happened, it hit me like a brick wall!
Hi I see Braedon Miles character quite often at our local YMCA...Sometimes he has his daughter with him.. They are thriving..I hiked up to the tree they saved last week..gut wretching still.. thank you for watching in memory of our local guys.. and the worlds Only the Brave..
Thank you for reacting! I check about every two months for new reactions to this movie and am always disappointed there are none, you changed that so thank you!
This movie had people sobbing. I had friends who knew some of these guys.
So heartbreaking when he walks into that room at the end. His worst day and then to have a whole room of people desperate for someone they know to walk in and not a single soul is there for him.
That was heart wrenching. Also Eric's wife's reaction when she finds out he died absolutely crushed me
17:45 yes, that’s quick. Wild fires can burn out swaths of land in minutes. If there is no fuel to burn, the fire usually does pretty quick.
Very sad, I cried and cried! RIP to those brave men!
incredible movie! and I agree with your father: it’s so nice to watch movies dedicated to real people, who did something great.
Thank you for reacting to this movie! I live in Prescott and still know exactly where I was when I first heard the news. Watched the funeral procession go through town and visited Yarnell shortly after the fire. There were still many houses that were burnt and the landscape was so black. Was a terrible time for the whole state of Arizona.
RIP the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots

You will be remembered as heroes.
Guys you definitely should give Deepwater Horizon a chance and react to the movie
I second this
6:30 this is how I got my job. On the sight interview
It’s nice watching your channel, feels like I’m watching the movie with you guys. And I enjoy the commentary 😊 can’t wait for the next one
Thank you Mandy!
This movie made me want to be a firefighter. I’m two years in and it’s the best job I have ever had! 6:30 I got recruited the same way. I came in to drop off my application. The chief came out and introduced himself. Then interviewed me on the spot
Im the same man im 34 and when i watched it i basically had the same reCtion gutted this movie is one of those movies that flies beneath the radar of being absolute power house true story drama tour reaction was par for the course for me lol ❤
For those close to this event, it was a 9/11 or Pearl Harbor type event: you will always remember it, and you will always remember where you were when you heard about it. I lived in Prescott at that time, and knew one of the Hotshots: Andrew Ashcraft. However, this tragedy brought our town together, and we still honor the memory of our fallen Hotshots. This movie really hits hard for those who knew them, and I know some people from Prescott who won't watch it because they know it would be too painful
Other movies I recommend watching is a 2004 Miracle with Kurt Russel, 13 days with Kevin Costner and 13 lives. All based on true events.
Hello, please watch “The Giver”! It’s a film based on my favorite book! God bless my friend 🙏🏽
Watching this movie with no backstory is the best way to watch it. I've been watching Brendan speak and documentaries since. It's great that this movie payed close attention to the actual story. Heart breaking but inspirational.
