We've stayed in that Hotel - on a Groupon deal many years ago- bargain! That's when I fell in love with St Brelade's Bay even though we have visited Jersey many times - absolutely stunning place. Was in Jersey 2 weeks ago, Jersey is just beautiful, we love it. Always go to St Brelade's, and visit the little church. There used to be a beachside cafe - wonderful place - not there anymore, such a shame. Did have a drink in the hotel bar overlooking the bay - just gorgeous when the weather is good. We were going to get the ferry over to Guernsey but no time, will definitely try next time.
The hotel is sad but the beach view is simply beautiful
To eat, go to the Smuggler inn, very old pub on the south coast.

Why go so far? 😉😉 We´ll be staying at the Cobo Bay the weekend after next. Looking forward to it. Very good food and not too expensive.
quiet year for tourism here in Jersey .... hopefully the Bergerac series will lift the Islands profile a bit after the Air Show fiasco .... Jersey is s*** at promoting itself .. also way to many seasonal staff from abroad sad times
Sorry but that's just like any English resort - so big and commercialised. Give me quiet, quaint Guernsey any day. I taught for a year in Jersey, can't say I was very impressed.

What is the cost to Island hop to Jersey? Did you fly? I spent a couple of hours in St Helier donkeys years ago before boarding the little yellow Aurigny 15 minute flite,
