This is how both Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff play in the game. Ravenclaw rationalize and prioritize on the best method which this game is the plants and Hufflepuffs like using plants by default.
It's another way to approach combat and was designed like that and the intention :). Also is a great reason to use the room of requirement skill tree ;) The other note is depending on the difficulty mode, it will affect the health amount taken over time.
I think they didn't want him to be overly strong and just wanted him to be supportive. But the system of traits and gear upgrades that you do on the loom is too OP when combined with the talents. It is the first RPG in conditions that they do and it shows a lot.

The point is this: after a certain moment/level in the game u simply become a god mage in whatever u do. U can throw cabbages, rocks, laser... the oponents cant stand a chance. There is simply no difficult AT ALL in combats.
I know, really falls off end game unfortunately. They should have added some scalable difficulty battle dungeons at least. Oh well hoping for some DLC or just wait for HL2. In the mean time Jedi Survivor coming soon!
I mean, it's not like it s something you can do right off the bat. You have to work your way up to it and then yeah, it's well within your rights to enjoy the mechanic.
Also I want to add I hope they can improve on the game just a little. Like a moral system the stuff you do has impact and the choices are a lot better and the classrooms you can’t interact and it’s short and the dorms are plan and boring you can’t set in chairs maybe take it out of the game bully. and last of all the lines for the love of god make it to were they don’t repeat the same line over and over again. But still it’s a great game but things they have to improve.
Herbology 3 with all you legendary equipment upgraded is OP lol I have a hybrid build which lets you do hella damage with spells if you want or you can just let the plants do the work. Upgrading the mandrakes is an insta kill on most enemies and the tentacula plant shoots the shields off and leaves them at like 20hp

Have you ever tried to hit the like button but missed and hit dislike instead? And then are horrified when you realize what you’ve done because for about 1.5 seconds you forget how RUclips works and think it’s permanent?

The game is just way too easy... they need harder enemies and a much higher difficulty level like nightmare mode or something where you can get one shotted and trolls just step on and squash your cabbage.
I was a bit disappointed, the game felt very blend and the story was ok at most. I did like the customization, the world design and the combat gameplay.
Legit my playstyle, it drives my partner mad. But alas I am very much behind in the combat challenge things, the feat I am now grinding them at the end of the game.
I feel like there's a lot of power imbalance in the game. You really only need one mandrake to take down an army. And even then, if you normally kill an enemy with 2 spells, to the point that avada kedavra became a joke because it's so easy to kill almost anything. The trolls and named enemies are the only ones that really give you a challenge level, but with the herbalist trait you only need 2 cabbages to kill them. And actually "hard" mode stops being "hard" when you unlock the loom and reach 380+ atk.

I watched this and ran to my room of requirement to pick all my ready plants ! Weirdly i used the others few times but not the cabbage and overall don't use potions and plants a lot. My fancy Ravenclaw is quite a charm savage but it's never too late to try other tricks !

I like the idea of just sneaking around and petrificus totalus-ing the entire camp. Not a single spell cast from the enemy.

I never really attempted to fully upgrade and utilize the chomping cabbage because I thought it was dumb... wow I was wrong!
Yup, you could honestly skip upgrading your spells and just use cabbages and thunderpots. See my other video of me only using Thunderbrew potion

It’s the dark arts cloak from the deluxe upgrade. You can put the hood up on any cloak with a hood by pressing y or triangle over the cloak.
