If I went back to classical repertoire it would no doubt be Scriabin. This gives me an entree. Thank you.
Well, that was very interesting. I haven't heard that piece before. I think I'll listen to it a few more times. Thank you for playing this piece for us.
Thanks for listening!
Fantastic man! Sublime piece and performance.
Thank you kindly!
Lovely performance, Sensei Zhdanov!
Sublime
Exquisite!
This reminds me a lot of the 1st movement of his 4th Sonata. Both the harmonies and the structure.
Right! Within a certain period (early, middle, late) Scriabin frequently uses similar elements and harmonies.
His 4th sonata ❤
This Op. 57 is lovely too
Great playing.
Would you please consider making some tutorials on easier Scriabin pieces, maybe some Preludes from op. 11? Musically they are hard to get into and a lesson would be helpful.
Great suggestion!
Interesting! it paints a picture of a distant landscape when dawn approaches
I’d love it if you would highlight the difficult spots in Rhapsody in Blue 😊 also the aria in the Goldberg Variations
Everyone really appreciates your contribution to the study of music. Thank you so much
Great suggestion! Thank you!😊
I think the first performance of this piece that I heard was by Glenn Gould (of all people). A shame you didn't include Carese dansée.
Admire your playing. Mostly not my music but better than Beethoven and the boys. Fun to see you with such expressive rendition.
I would say I enjoy the way you did the piece. Compelling sounds. Nice technique.
Wait, this isn't a tutorial!
