G'day @theLiveChive I hope you don't mind that I share your videos, I'm a fellow Aussie living in the US who shares your love of great Aussie music, which your channel definitely provides. My channel will never be monetized, I just enjoy sharing great music. I support your channel by not only subscribing to it but I also share your link in the description on every video I post. So I guess this helps spend your videos to a wider audience. Once again, I hope you're ok with this and keep up the good work, your channel rocks!
I get all that. But I spend money on sourcing content and hardware and HOURS collecting, digitising, editing and uploading. When users download and re upload videos it only dilutes my views. But in saying that, I’m no fool. I know I have no rights to 99% of the footage I upload, but you have forced me to add watermarks to the videos, which takes more time and slows down how quickly I can get content online. If you want to share clips on social media, great. But downloading and reloading to another channel only directs people away from here… in my opinion.
I understand your point of view, but believe me I have no intention of making any money by sharing your videos and if you were to check out the amount of views I receive from these videos, you’ll see they are miniscule at best. So I don’t believe I am taking people away from your channel. I honestly just enjoy the great variety of Australian talent your channel provides. If you have no rights to 99% of the videos that you post, I’m not sure why you feel the need to watermark, which doesn’t bother me either way, i use and pay for Kapwing as my video editor and watermarks are a pretty straightforward process. I have posted over three thousand videos, many of them have been shared by other creators, which is fine by me, I kind of consider that a compliment. As I am retired I get a lot of enjoyment posting these videos as a hobby knowing full well there is no financial gain as my disclaimer on all the videos states, I do it because I love the music and enjoy sharing it. I hope you understand my point of view and we can both continue to do what we obviously enjoy doing. No harm, no foul.
@@rockjams1825 watermarking so when you steal them off my channel and re load them, people can see where they come from. I also don’t make any money either… maybe try and source your own videos from outside RUclips?

@@theLiveChive people know where the video comes from as i credit your channel in the description of every video. I do the same with all of my videos.
