FUSA - Festival de Danse France-USA

🇫🇷 En juillet 2023 a eu lieu la première édition de FUSA - Festival de danse France-USA pour une salle pleine d’amoureux de la danse. FUSA est un festival de danse contemporaine engagé proposant un langage chorégraphique qui s’inspire de l’identité artistique de deux cultures qui se rencontrent, se nourrissent et explorent ensembles artistiquement. Créé dans le cadre de la résidence artistique d’Althea Dance Company à la Fondation des États-Unis (FEU), cette première édition à été construite sous le thème de l’humanité commune, thème évident dans le travail de chacune des compagnies ayant participé.
FUSA naît de la rencontre entre Althea Dance Company et la Fondation des États-Unis (FEU). Ensemble, ils développent un festival de danse contemporaine engagé franco-américain. Le festival propose un langage chorégraphique qui s’inspire de l’identité artistique de deux cultures qui se rencontrent, se nourrissent et explorent ensemble. C’est un aller-retour riche en découvertes créatives, qui favorise et souligne un lien fort et amical entre la France et les États-Unis. FUSA a été imaginé comme un lieu de performance qui tient à l’intégrité du travail des artistes sélectionnés en leur donnant une pleine liberté d’expression.

🇺🇸 In July 2023, the first edition of the FUSA - Dance Festival France-USA took place in a room full of dance lovers. FUSA is a committed contemporary dance festival offering a choreographic language inspired by the artistic identity of two cultures that meet, nourish and explore together artistically. Created as part of Althea Dance Company's artistic residency at the Fondation des États-Unis (FEU), this first edition was built around the theme of shared humanity, a theme evident in the work of each of the participating companies.
FUSA is the result of an encounter between Althea Dance Company and the FEU. Together, they are developing a Franco-American festival of committed contemporary dance. The festival proposes a choreographic language inspired by the artistic identities of two cultures that meet, nourish and explore together. It's a round-trip rich in creative discoveries, fostering and underlining a strong and friendly bond between France and the United States. FUSA has been conceived as a performance space that respects the integrity of the selected artists' work, giving them full freedom of expression.
