Try put your overboost setting that is 10% higher than your peak target boost. I've had this happen to me rare times. Its probably two things it wasn't calibrate properly or you will need to do duty cycle again with couple pulls.
I have a GFB and the only time I over boost like that is when one of the vacuum lines to the mac solenoid is loose or leaking. used some small clamps on all of them and now no over boost anymore

My e61 is also still running strong at almost 180k miles. It has wastegate raddle and will throw a low boost code if you try to lug it up a hill at low rpm’s but it’s starts up every day.

Make sure all the preventative maintenance is done or you can do/pay to get it done, oil filter housing/cooler gasket, injectors, valve cover, spark plugs, coil packs, high pressure fuel pump, water pump/Thermostat, oil pan gasket, turbos, charge pipe, Mickey Mouse flange, that’s most of the things to look for and that need to be looked at and done if needed, tons of forums of the car and videos, if you have a problem there’s a post about it somewhere, the protool app for android will be your best friend it’s a diagnostic and coding app, other than that it’s a great car; the engine is solid, the n54 not the n55
@@liliyailincheva7075 the injectors aren't what Limit the power. It's the hpfp. Stock hpfp will support up to 550 on 93. You can either get a overdrive for the hpfp or get port injection

Look into a 535 you can get them for a lot cheaper and most of the time they were family cars so they weren’t beat on.

You should look into the Saab 9-3 aero , almost always under 6k and have just as much potential. Both are great cars but Saabs are just too underrated
