@@Paralyzed Hate ruhig weiter. Ich stelle mich auf die Seite der Männer, die Deutschland geschaffen haben. Ich rede übrigens von jenen, die noch etwas Loyalität für die Gründerväter Deutschlands übrig haben und nicht von jenen, die sich abwandten als die Kaiser sie am meisten brauchten, jene, die die Gründerväter verrieten indem sie diese dehumanisierten und als "die Bösen" hinstellen. Und diese Flagge haben wir heute nur in anderen Farben, weil wir nach dem Zweiten WK das System der westlichen Demokratie aufgezwungen bekommen haben und dieses akzeptierten. Außerdem würde ich lieber die Kaiserreichsflagge mit Stolz tragen als die heutige, die für mich eine inkompetente Regierung symbolisiert. It's actually crazy when you consider the German Army was able to hold the French, Russian, Belgian and Commonwealth troops at bay for four entire years. They literally had all it took to win the war. I guess it was just real, real bad luck (and poor planning too).
thats also why I feel like one cannot blame the germans for any weapons used in the War. It was basically them vs 70 or 80% of the world. At that point everything is allowed. Not to mention the Italians and the US Troops also joined later on.
Also it's not like they were the only ones using those weapons, they were just generally better at it. Pretty sure the French were the first ones to use chemical weaponry.

There was absolutely nothing secret about it. Austria-Hungary and Germany did well know, what would happen if Austria-Hungary were to attack Serbia. It was absolutely no secret, that Serbia had Russia as an ally and Russia had France as an ally and the French had the British and it was no secret, that it was very likely, that these parties would very likely actually join a war against Germany and Austria-Hungary. Don't listen to propaganda from 100+ years ago. The only other option, besides the Kaiser just straight up lieing (which he definetely is by the way), would be incredible incompetence by anyone, who had even a modicum of say. They knew, that this would happen.

He always walked around in military uniforms, even long before the war and he greatly fetished the idea of war and comradeship. Some experts even say, that he sought to compensate for his physical disability, he wanted to be seen as strong because he thought, that his disability made him seem weak.
There was no secret conspiracy behind Germany's back and that, which could be called a conspiracy, was well-known to the Kaiser. It was obvious to everyone, even a blind man, that exactly this would happen partly because many of Europe's great powers wanted to keep German expansion in check. Nonetheless, the Kaiser wanted this war for a multitude of reasons. Ist zwar etwas spät jedoch möchte ich sagen wie beeindruckend dieses Video gemacht ist. Am Start die Rede die danach in Seven Nations Army übergeht in Verbindung mit dem Bildmaterial und immer wieder Ausschnitte aus der Rede. Wahnsinnig gut gemacht und wirklich unterhaltsam und stark. Erst hier ist mir bewusst geworden, wie viel die Deutschen Streitkräfte zu dieser Zeit geleistet haben und wie lange sie durchgehalten haben trotz dieser Quantität an Gegnern.
Es erfüllt mich mit Stolz was unsere Vorfahren alles für Kaiser, Gott und Vaterland geleistet haben.

Heutzutage werden in unserer absolut toleranten, "aufgeklärten", und alleswissenden Gesellschaft, die Fehler die gewiss auch vom Kaiserreich begangen worden sind, zum Stricke gedreht, um den Teufel "Deutsche Geschichte" in Gänze zu hängen.
Das wir heutzutage uns wirklich das Recht herausnehmen, über die Taten unserer Vorfahren zu urteilen, ohne eine zeitgenössische Perspektive einzunehmen, und stattdessen weiterhin in unserer "Regenbogenwelt" verharren, in der wir zu Glauben wissen, das "Gute" und "Böse" in der Welt wirklich ausmachen zu können, ist nicht nur ein arrogantes und unreflektiertes Verhalten, sondern wird uns von einer der zukünftigen Generationen gewiss auch zu einem Stricke gedreht werden, gerade wenn es darum geht in was für einem Überfluss wir gelebt, und auf wessen Kosten wir dies getan haben.

Only when their cities were bombed did they also bomb the German cities. They used poison gas in response to the enemy's use of poison gas. They have not massacred any civilians in this war. The German soldiers did that in this war and not the British and French. Furthermore, I didn't write anything about World War II. But the guilt of the war is completely clear!!! The Germans raided Poland and various other countries!
The french used gas granates first bromide than the cheaper, more effective and more available chlorine and the british supplied most of there chlorine to them since the start of the war.
When german ambassadors complained about how cruel, inhumane gas were and that this was a breach of the Hague landwar charter the french and the british response was that gas is a humane, fast, painless death. Then germany adopted the same weapon and gave the allies a taste of there own medicine and only then it was a inhumane crime and totally cruel to use it in such way. The same about flamethrowers. Or bombing city's. The allies did it first and germany just retaliated in the same way, doing it better with no experience thanks to there zeppelins and the bombers from the Gotha train cards company.

they had took on 4 of the most powerful superpowers and almost won, even as they had to fight on huge fronts they almost managed to get to paris, pulled the second biggest nation in the world, russia out of the war and changed history to how we know it today
I still just don't get how they couldn't see fighting on multiple fronts against 4 strong enemies would obviously result a lose. I think step one should have been to get another ally, not only Italy and Japan and to actually stick with them.
Like there was the possibility of success but definitely not against all at the same time. But I really have to say neither the nazis or japab was even close to winning the war. I mean that was just obvious only considering the numbers.
@@benfischer6303 He's referring to WW1. WW2 was something Germany didn't really plan in totality for. The reality is that the Germans sole interest was neutralizing the Soviets. France and GB were not part of their plans for a prolonged war. In Fact, Germany were actively trying to prevent war with the West and even made several attempts of peace deals once the 1939 Polish Invasion kicked off.
WW1 was very close. Germany was probably on the verge of victory, albeit a very costly one, but when the Yanks got involved, then it was all over. The horrible peace deal that Germany was forced to sign in WW1 was a major factor towards WW2.
Aint it funny how they always try to blame Germany while the entire world is/was doing it.

1:07 wait that's a CV33 (italian tankette from the interwar period) followed by a Vickers Medium Mark A (British interwar medium tank) followed by a STuG III A (German SPG from early ww2), none of which have anything to do with the German Empire as they're all post 1918 machines. Good edit tho.
I'm a german, and I always enjoy these historical records of our first two empires. They are nothing short of our manifested pride.

Russia lost 34% of its population, 54% of its industrial land, 89% of its coalfields, and 26% of its railways. Russia which fined 300 million gold marks. No one says that there was an inevitability because of the treaty of Brest Litovsk to introduce communism in Russia, with all the negative consequences! Because that would be absurd too! Likewise, it is absurd to claim that there was an inevitability because of the Treaty of Versailles then to introduce Nazism in Germany. Only the Germans themselves were responsible for their government and for the consequences. They were responsible for the terrible war and the various genocides so that a total of 70 million people had to die.
So stop outrageously the whitewashing of the Germans!
