Just skimmed through, was hoping for an atlas run through with c4d, as well as a octane script exporter for bridge. Do you rekon these may be visited in the future? Amazing product!
Hi Aaron, happy to hear that you like Megascans! A proper Octane export script is definitely coming. We are working on some more atlas specific tutorials for the future!
I am using Maya and 3D max from v1 back in 90s, but I wish I learn C4D when it's first come, C4D is really the best and it's actually amazing software.
Megascans is a new site to me. Nice looking scans but can't justify $20 or more a month for textures. May have to start making my own texture maps and selling them haha. As far as this video goes, very nice work and well presented.
Holy shit this is one of most ground breaking tutorial I've seen. I had many thoughs about octane in Cinema4D, but now I see that I'm far far away from the limit of this render software. Also fusion studio looks really nice to do compositing (All hail nodal workflow), maybe a bit more efficient than After Effect ^^. One more thing, THANK YOU
Can you share your system specs ? I am building a new PC for graphic design and I am impressed by the realtime nature of your render on Octane. Thank you
This Ivy Grower Plugin is not supported for over 2 years now (last post from the developer is from Aug 2015 where he announced to shut of his page in lack of money). Where did you get yours from (supported by R18)?
Hi Ashish, We will be releasing a whole swarm of tutorials shortly. Just today a 3DS Max+Redshift tutorial will be released, Maya tutorials are also in the works!
I really think you should venture off and try to model or learn how to model this stuff by hand. of course sometimes your client will want to avoid all sorts of different copyright laws so sometimes Megascans may not be an option. Plus not to mention octane Displacement would be 2 million times more efficient than having a high poly count object.
Best Video i seen in 3d ever! I could take it all in! You are great!
Believe in yourself, our determination is sotNice tutorialng that never lets us down
Mmmmm those shrooms do have juicy colors! Love the diversity in this!
Worth every minute. Love the whole process and of course the final outcome. Inspired!
Been hoping for this video for some time. Purchased a quixel sub today, then boom, you uploaded this! Thankyou Quixel

Bit late, but as I recall the latest Ivygrower is forward-compatible to R18, even if it was last updated 2015.

How the devil did they manage to create gloss/spec maps from photoscans??
We cant say for sure, but there was a lot of voodoo involved..
