- Bought 14 lbs at $1.89 per pound at Hairy Tornado's Goodwill outlet bins in Columbia SC! This was on a Monday and they had fresh (new) inventory that no one had gone through before us! We had some great finds both in the clothing section and hard goods section.

Bins for clothes only good during the week because they dont run the bails on Saturday and Sunday (plus trucks dont come)

We just made a trip out there to the goodwill stores and they definitely provided 🤩 The bins are on the list to go to next time we’re there 🤙
3:26 since it’s a crowded day, every time you put the D&B purse down I shrieked a little in my head lol someone could snatch that away.
Tip on D&Bs - pull on the front duck logo patch to test if it’s a fake or not. Real ones are stitched on and won’t budge. Fake ones are glued on and will pull up.

I was wondering; do you have any interest in sewing? Some of the things you rejected because of holes were easy fixes. I don't know how that'll affect your profit margin, but it might be worth looking into if you don't do it already. Mind you, I'm a sewist, not a reseller, so I don't know how a reseller would approach it.

I have definitely stitched up my fair share of holes, but when it comes to certain fabrics like cashmere, my rookie stitching job just doesn’t «hide» well enough when it’s not in the seam 🥲 Not a great look for a high end material like cashmere. I’m sure you could make it look invisible though!! We’re just picky of the item has holes, but have definitely picked up stuff with them in the past 👍🏼

Too bad about the cashmere, but hopefully some intrepid knitter will turn that busted sweater into recycled yarn.

This is what kills me. My kids will take my stuff when I die and drop it off T goodwill. The resellers will make money. I’m starting to give away my good stuff as I’m now over 60
The bins is the LAST stop before the landfills. Whatever is not bought here goes to waste, literally. But you do whatever floats your boat 😊

What an awful set up for the bins. It seems incredibly lazy to me they just keep the stuff in the black boxes at opening; and leave the emptying of it into the bigger rolling blue ones to the customers. If you’re not the first in line and able to get to a black box you’re pretty much screwed. I’m sorry, but i don’t want to go through stuff 3 other people have looked at and are tossing onto me. Should just be in the blue ones already so more people could look at the same time.
First goodwill bins we’ve seen to do this! Could definitely agree with you here - it’s great if you’re first to the new goods but not good if you’re stuck waiting on the sideline 😅
