Part 1: Configuring and Running a Recording
In this two-part video series, we explain some of the basic functions of the AEMC PowerPad® III Model 8336. This instrument is a three-phase power quality analyzer that is easy-to-use, compact and shock resistant. It enables technicians and engineers to measure and carry out diagnostics and power quality work on one-, two- or three-phase networks.
In Part 1, we begin by helping you become familiar with the instrument’s user interface. We then describe general instrument configuration. We conclude by demonstrating the basic steps for setting up, running, and viewing a recording on the instrument.
By the end of this video, you will have a good basic understanding of the Model 8336 and its many features and functions. You will then be prepared to connect the instrument to a computer running the DataView PowerPad III Control Panel, to configure the instrument, view data in real time, set up and run a recording session, download recordings, and create reports from this data. These topics will be covered in Part 2 of this series.
If you are unfamiliar with the Model 8336, this video will serve as a good introduction. And if you already own a Model 8336, feel free to view this video as a hands-on tutorial, performing tasks along with us.
