  • Employees of Inditex (which owns Zara, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear and Bershka) are rising up against the fashion giant because they feel they are not being treated fairly by a business that generates billions in profit every year. This short documentary on Zara-owner Inditex takes a closer look at the brand and how, despite posting record breaking profits, their employees are struggling, feel poor and are demanding more.

I work for inditex (in center EU) and not only we get a salary that is not adequate to the cost of living, but it's really hard work. We always do overtime, and we have to reach targets using absolutely inadequate resources. We work in shops and warehouses where all the safety regulations and protocols are ignored so we can work faster and at lower costs. And this is in the rich and civilised central Europe, and in the shops. Now imagine in poor countries and in the sweatshops where they produce the clothes. You vote with your wallets, buy better.

@@theonlybryson1it's actually common sense. You dont like your job for whatever reason you quit and do something else. People love whining lmao

To an extent. It’s not realistic to quit, people may not have other options. People are entitled to protest for what they believe they deserve, especially if they’re contributing to the success of the business

@@theonlybryson1 entitled people deserve being mocked. If they're so bad at everything that you say they have no other options then even moreso, they don't deserve anything more
