It really does look like the survivors are using the combine ai hope in the future there's a version that actually is from Left4dead 2 cause them walking like there bones are broken and footsteps like crunching cereal is off
Their models are literally just pasted onto the combine animations. Only unique thing the mod creators did was give them their voicelines. Almost anyone could create better npcs.

They're smart snpcs and act like Black Ops Female Assassins They have silenced assault rifles, silenced pistols, flashbangs, smoke grenades, grenade launchers, claymores, and working body armor They will always try to run away and hide if they're getting hurt or shot up, and will always flinch when shot to the head so give them cover If you want to fight her, just shoot her legs over and over or hit her with a crowbar until she gets angry. If you want her to fight other npcs, spawn 3 to 7 of her and give her some kind of cover at least so they don't die so quickly They're also great allies if you wanna do some Zombie or Combine Raid Survivals
