Man, you really nailed it. What I saw here was that you created an amazing symbol with that pile of dragon heads. The Grand Finale couldn’t have been better-the warrior finally cuts off the King’s head after he kept changing his mind just because he could. But eventually, the warrior’s patience ran out, and the King’s head rolled. Great analogy, great storyline, fantastic start, and a strong finish. Congrats!
Thanks, I have so much more to sho!, in a year or so I'll put it together the full presentation with all the stuff that happens also during the festival run !
Thanks for sharing this. It's some truly great work and it's always and honour to see the effort that goes into films like this. Honestly can't wait to see it!
Te felicito! La raja la presentación y pa que decir los resultados! Felicitaciones también por los festivales en que han quedado seleccionados, secos!!!
Congratulations for selections..it's very inspiring and motivating video and great presentation.so good to see the complete process from start.cant wait to see the film..
I was invited by the voice director to audition for the singing squirrel in the Thai dub of Peter Rabbit 2. Sony didn't approve though, apparently. Ah, well...
I know it might be a lot to ask but is there any chance that, there will be published a tutorial about modeling and rigging process of those such an amazing 2d looking 3d models?
Great presentation! As someone working on their own short film, I found it very useful. Regarding your comment at about 4:30: yes, I've seen the clips you've shared on twitter and the moment I read the title+definition of the word it clicked for me and I got an idea of what the short film was about, heh. Question time: It's hard for me to find the right timing of the storyboard stills when I go to edit the animatic. How can I do it better? Does that mean that I need more stills? Or maybe just more practice editing? Or am I missing something else?
A lot of the times I had that issue, there are several things at play, in animatic form because you have so little information about how the characters move things tend to feel longer than they will be in animation. So you can A, speed things up to get the right feeling and understand that that will be longer in anim, or try to fill a bit with more images. Now, if you're working on your story then I'd do the first one you want the least amount of drawings to tell a clear story, then WHEN you're set on the story and you wanna "tie down" the animatic so its as representative of the shots as possible do the latter. This will help you have a clearer idea of how long each shot is which will inform you how long they'll take and on top of that It will be more clear for animators whether that is yourself or not about how the shot is supposed to unfold. Hope that helps!
@@lucianomunoz Thank youuu! This actually helps a lot! I'm a bit lazy when it comes to redoing stuff (I really dislike even having to erase and redraw things 🙃), but I'm coming to terms with it and I'll probably follow your advice. Thanks again!
the thing with 3D / CG / Animation in general is that it is not a linear process It's a process that goes on loops, you need to accept that you'll take 2 steps forwards and one backwards in order to do the best you can.
Your "bad" art is what made the movie soo endearing and full of character.
Bad art... Wheeere?
Hey Dude, i absolutely LOVE what you and your team have created. Look forward to the final version.

animadores Ricos y famosos...
mas bien "pobres y desconocidos" xD
None of your Drawings look shitty to me. If you see my drawings, you will never think of your drawings as shitty.
Great Job on your Project !!!
