- 'So bitter: Why the Royals should be 'nervous' about Prince Harry's new book | Palace Confidential. After months of speculation, reports from the US this week suggest that Prince Harry’s controversial autobiography will come out later this year and his former biographer says the family need to prepare themselves for a series of shocks. Angela Levin, who wrote Harry: Conversations with the Prince, says that after giving him a multi-million pound advance, publishers Penguin Random House will ‘want a story’ and Harry will be ready to give them one. ‘He’s now so bitter and resentful that he will say what he really feels and see things that he accepted years ago as now being really dreadful,’ she tells our royal talk show Palace Confidential. ‘I think he really wants to show his power over William because he was fed up with being the spare rather than the heir - I think he’s got a lot of poison in his blood now about what he feels about his background and his family.’
Levin’s fellow panellist, veteran royal writer Robert Jobson, agrees that the impact will likely be ‘huge’ in the UK.

Harry has shown himself to be a jealous, angry, and petulant doofus, at least here in the U.S. I would not be surprised to find that the publisher squashes his book. Every detail must be scrupulously verified and, as we have seen from Harry, his recollections tend to vary from the truth.
His book is not out yet but is already reviewed by many. Charles wrote his books back in 1994. Said his family was dysfunctional and admitted to his affair yet both will still be King and QC. A nation divided will not stand. It remains to he seen what will happen when the queen the only one highly respected is gone. The earth will open up and many things will be exposed.
Since it’s an autobiography and not a biography, nothing has to be verified factually. Unless Harry hired his own lawyers, it’s the publishing company’s lawyers reviewing it, and then they’re only looking to make sure it doesn’t contain anything, such as copyright or intellectual property infringement, for which the company could be sued. They’re not reviewing it - and have no obligation to - for things Harry could be sued for personally. In a nutshell, Harry can say anything, make any allegations, relate any story he wants to. That’s why the publisher is paying him for the book.
I really thought Harry was the most grateful and hard working Senior Royal. As an American I love the royal family. My eyes have been opened to Harry, imo is disturbed and Meghan took 💯 advantage of him. Much like Amber Heard did Depp. Taking advantage of people who have suffered from racism and domestic violence are the lowest people of the low. The entitlement of these two clowns makes me sick. I feel deeply sad for the children. They have ruined their birthright. Billons of people would give their arm to be a Prince. Harry lost my compassion. Diana was right. His mother died then Chsrles married the women he had an affair with. They were teased in school because this affair was in the news everyday. None of his female friends wanted to marry him because of the chaotic media attention. One they sId was not princess material they other one said she did not want to be told what to say do or wear. He was getting older and wanted to get married and have kids. In this modern world not to many women was knocking on palace door to get in. Sane with Wills when he married Kate after having her wait for 20 years no one else was waiting. Why is Meghsn being targeted Harry said he wanted to live a normal life and that none of them wanted to be King but is doing do because of duty. His wife of choice is being attack daily. Got death threats before the marriage, her child was call chimp, got white powder in the mail. Was wanted in the palace andxwas targeted with leaks from the palace before they even decided to leave. People need to look at the whole picture cagey make judgement. Charles did the first TV interview and wrote 2 books back in 1994 against palace wishes. Diana did the BBC and wrote her side. Fergie did Oprah & Dr Phil. Andrew did the BBC. The York's still lives on palace grounds and enjoying palace perks. He cost the crown 20 mil and millions more in lawyer fees. All the leaking from the palace before they found freedom was the cause of this rift. They sign an NDA. Calling her Harry showgirl and thst woman. Stating how they traveled while all of them are taking private jet. They had to pay rent when the others have 4 or 3 homes. Renovated a rental property and had to pay back 2.4 million for a property they were paying rent for. Something is not right. As was mentioned in Newsweek about the bullying claims this was a toxic environment and if a report came out their would be an embrassment on both sides. Andrew also was reported to HR about his bullying staff and nothing was done. When the queen is no more the earth will open up about a lot.H& M were only there for 2 1/2 years so it will be all on the rest.

If you're talking about Tom Bower's book, it is not 'out' yet. What have been released are excerpts to encourage sales. Better not to judge it without reading it.

Vanity Fair author cane out yesterday and stated what was mention in the book about scheming claims are not true. That she is an extraordinary woman exceptionally warn and gracious. Admires her intelligence and remarkable courage and still do. He Aldo said it is time to stop piling on H&M and leave them in peace. All truth will raise to the top like oil does in water. It is not normal human behavior to attack another human daily.

The ghost writer on Harry's book has quit. He was protecting his reputation so that tells you a lot about how accurate the book is .

He has been the ghost writer of a number of celebrities book and has been successful, however with Harry's book one wonders how much truth is in it. I think he wants to keep his reputation intact and so I heard just recently that he quit. It could be part of the reason for the delay.

That could well be a factor in the delay but I had also heard that the lawyers were going over it with a fine tooth comb, partly to save the publishers from any future lawsuits but also because there could be national security issues.

All that glitter ain't gold. It is a veneer scratch the surface. His mother stated being a princess ain't what it Crack up to be. She said anyone with half a brain would have left a long time ago but she could not because of her boys. You have to walk a mile in his shoes to understsnd why. He stated way before Meghan he wishes he could live a normal life. All the woman he dated did not want the royal life. One stated she did not want to be told what to say do or wear. Another one was ran in the bushes by photographers. His phone and one of his girlfriend phone has been hacked. They hack his phone when he started dated Meghan knew how many times he texted her. They are gossip about every single day. This is not a normal life and no way to raise kids. He and William were teased in school because of affair between Charles & Camilla.
Very sad for this young man’s legacy. Live a purposeful life!

It is very unlikely that the royals have anything to worry about regarding his book. Besides the fact that if he knew any scandalous secrets, he would have exposed them by now; his relevancy depends on his royal connections. He's not going to say anything that could result in his family publicly disowning him and Parliament seeing him as a threat to the monarchy and stripping him of his titles and place in the line of succession.

What I have taken from all the reports is that Andrew and to a lesser extent Edward followed by Harry seem not to have looked ahead to their adult lives. They were not guided by their family or people who taught them into preparation for an occupation, for a method of earning a living and getting on with life.

I have changed 180 degrees regarding Camilla. I was not a fan at first but over the past couple of years, after realizing that she has been working loyally for for the monarchy, and has not done anything to damage it versus Diana, (who yes I was a fan of at first but she was no saint,) Fergie (just messed up a lot) and especially Meghan (traitorous) I have come to value Camilla as one of the few women (including Sophie and Princess Anne) who can be admired.
