I feel like she's always been friendly with the press but she sounds a lot more comfortable and confident these days. win or lose, it is really nice to see her happy. i think it was only 5 years ago that she didn't make it into the qualies at Rome. how crazy is that! Btw. thanks for posting these press conferences. It is cool that we get to experience the players in interviews about random stuff as well.
Great point out! Her English has definitely improved and I think she can express herself better (less frustration)....it is crazy...even watching the end of this presser how f-a-s-t she speaks in Polish! Wouldn't it be amazing to hear her full thoughts in her native language!?1? Wowsa! 🤣🤣🤣
It's not something you say about most athletes, but tennis is very lucky to have Iga. She's an excellent ambassador for women's tennis: humble, talented, hardworking, cute, respectful, respected, well-spoken. The best leader for women's tennis by a mile!

Po zwycięskim i "morderczym" Madrycie, gdzie nieraz musiałaś Igunio przełamywać się "pod górkę" (niesamowity finał z Sabalenką !), miałem wątpliwości, czy po kilku dniach rozsądny jest twój start w kolejnym "morderczym" turnieju. Nawet najlepsi wyczynowcy sportowi, to nie maszyny. Mimo 1-go zwycięstwa w Rzymie, nadal mam wątpliwości co do tego startu, bo lepiej było by odsapnąć, odpocząć i nabrać sił, do już bliskich, większych wyzwań w Paryżu (Rol. Gar., Olimpiada ). Niemniej, oczywiście, życzę Ci, Igo, dalszych udanych meczów.
W tenisie to tak nie działa, że odpoczniesz i będzie ok. Długi odpoczynek oznacza dłuższy powrót do rytmu. Więc tak przed RG niekoniecznie można długo odpoczywać.
Iga wygrała w Rzymie 2 razy-2021,2022
@@petysiacZwlaszcza, ze Rzym ma podobna nawierzchnie do RG. ogranie dobrze jej zrobi
Historia jest przeciwko niej. 2020 roku opada w pierwszej rundzie w Rzymie, następnie deklasuje konkurencje w RG. 2021 wygrywa w Rzymie finał 6:0 6:0, później przegrywa z przeciętną Sakari, w 2022 wygrywa Rzym i RG, ale jest ciężka przeprawa z chniką Qwen. 2023 leczyła kontuzje. Wiadać że Iga potrzebuje jednak przerwy. Ryzyko jest nieracjonalne, bo nie musi bronić zbyt wielu punktów, a przy niekorzystym losowaniu i trudnej przeciwniczce w ćwierćfinale może pożegnać się z ostatnią realną szansą na Szlema w tym roku, oraz straci całą masę punktów.
