Psychologically it's hard to loosen up when you hear someone screaming. The opponent's brain registers this scream and body reacts. Sabalenka knows this and uses this tactic, but Iga did not give up. Well done Iga.

@@blablacar115 The fans' yell is not aggressive, but Sabalenka's scream is. Read how the brain and body react to aggressive listening experiences, confirmed by scientific research. Sabalenka uses this tactically. The players do not complain because it is not forbidden, but the fans complain in the comments. The body reacts to aggressive sounds by tensing up and Sabalenka's scream is aggressive, even men on the court don't make such sounds.

I thought the "courageous" comment was the most insightful. The tough thing for these players is being willing/able to be aggressive and take chances in the biggest moments, and that can be the difference in huge matches like this.
I think the word Iga was searching for is "bold".
