This definitely saved me about $700 and a ton of frustration. I took my Pixel 3 out of my pocket only to find it stuck in a bootloop. I talked with Google support and even tried connecting to it via ADB. I was ready to start shopping for a new phone. The smashing the power button trick is what finally got my phone to boot. Thank you!

Me too. I didn't notice anything funny with the power button (sticking, etc.) But smashing the power button on the 3a XL worked like a charm!!
I was wondering because I could not change the options in the Fast Boot mode, as soon as I touched the volume up/down the phone just began rebooting.
I had already moved on to the Pixel 5, but I kept the 3a XL as a back up and was using it to check out the Android Betas (12L.)

I tried all of the fixes about 10 times. I was desperate for my phone to work as I had free data on the phone.
I kept following the advice as I had nothing better to do. I did all five steps.
Well finally tonight, my phone finally started working again. So happy about this.

I never make comments on videos. This will be my first. I want to take the time to thank you for actually giving a solution to a problem instead of just telling people to upgrade. I went to the phone shop to get a solution or a repair and instead they told me to upgrade instantly without even trying to fix it. I owned this phone for over two years and had no problems. I had the reboot loop. I didn't know what to do so I turned to your video for one last attempt before I bite the bullet and buy a new phone and it worked! Thank you for making this video. I already ordered a Pixel 6 (it's time), but it's on backorder for over a week so now at least my wife has her phone for the week until then. Pixel 4 XL here, what did it for me was pushing the power button on the corner of a hard box (the box the phone came in) really fast and fairly hard. It almost immediately triggered the emergency alert (I'm assuming it thought it detected a car accident?) and I had to quick slide to cancel the 911 call. Then it was on the home screen!!! It was rebooting for 5 hours non-stop. Thank you!!

Pixel 3. Rapidly pressing power button worked for me. I found this video after skimming through a few pointless forum threads. From the device I was using, the link took me toward the end of the video where the tips were firmly massaging the front and back followed by smacking front and back. I did not try the massaging but I did smack the back to my knee a few times. I started the video from beginning and started reading the comments. A few of the several I read mentioned repeated rapid pressing of the power button. It was about 5 seconds of repeatedly pressing and my device booted before the advertisements finished and the and video actually began. THANK YOU. I have 👍 the video and added to Watch Later. For now leaving this comment and ensuring some dats is backed up before boot loop happens again or something worse. 🤞

WHAT THE FUCK, my phone is Google Pixel 2 XL, and it was stuck with the G logo at start, and it was not the normal multicolored G, it was some orangish-green G (something was off).
This was the first video I watched and I just mindlessly followed all your steps. The tap method did the trick for me, I wasn't even paying attention to my phone and was just watching your video, and lo and behold!! My phone is now working normally.
    HUGE THUMBS UP KING!

This video is very good! I was working in a place where I had to go ahead and cut out a bunch of drywall today, and I checked on my phone at around noon time and hear my phone was going on and off continuously. And I could not get it to work at all. I finally got home after a long day, and I was looking up different resources to try and fix my phone and came across this video and I did everything you said still couldn't get my phone on. So I washed it again and here I went crazy on the power button and after about 2 or 3 minutes or just constantly hitting that power button it finally is working! Thank you so much for the video, follow the advice and go crazy on your phone LOL! May Jesus greatly bless you all!

The phone was restarting so constantly we couldnt do any of the other online suggestions about settings and app clearing etc, but the repeat clicking the off button method in this video worked in stopping the constant restarts and then we did the other online suggestions of updating the system and apps, cleaning cache etc just in case. Thank you!

It stopped the bootloop for a while... then I tried the tapping screen and cover back method and it really works! Thanks a lot and you've saved my day!
