Yeah just gave my girl a workout. Used my JD 520 to plow 3/4-1 acre with the 3 bottom and mom's garden then I disced it and the field area I hooked the roller behind the disc. I had a little trouble starting to disc. Got a 6ft JD killefer disc and climbing the hill I was sinking in the soft dirt. The 520 is almost too small but our ground here is light. Used lawn tractor to broadcast some rye then used my JD B to roll it. My 520 has oil pressure issues for years. I'm sending her to friends to fix her up around turkey day
Goodluck on those beans, just kidding. Great job man.I have come to admire your work ethic and its time to think of the future of the farm for your family.
@@KipSieglerFarming1 thanks for clearing that up cause I was like ummmm I've never heard of winter beans wont the snow kill the beans????? Lol love the channel good sir
It's great to see family owned and still do alot old school I miss it
Love the 60's series! Glade to see you guys kept the ol girl around.
Us too!
Those equipment barns are massive
At 9:00 great drone shots
Love seeing a bunch of brothers working together instead of against one another. The way it should be. Faith family farming.
That's one helluva tractor planter set up !! Very badass
Thanks 👍
Enjoyed watching the video Kip 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Quite impressive setup, Kip. Ty for another great video, I know it takes time to video and editing them, but we appreciate the share.

They are!
The woods are beautiful, enjoyed the drone footage, nice tractor 🚜
Thanks 👍
You have great looking dry cows and heifers big strong and healthy!
Was that your dad hooking up header carts ? Sure do miss working with my dad . He looks like he's in pretty good shape. Loved his hair slick back
I live in north branch and I saw you planting it was very cool
having a bigger tractor is all ways better than to small at leased that is what i have found the hard way
Wow kip you guys really thinned out the cows at the dry cow lot no heifer cafes coming in or are getting rid of some of them let's go
Wrong time of the year to drill beans, wheat would do much better. Now you know I not only watch but I listen. Enjoy your videos, great job.
Thanks 👍
My best wheat ever was drilled with a 21 hole 8300 right into bean stubble like you are doing
Not used to seeing your dad with sleeves on!
Kinda takes 2 to feed dry cows with that outside bunk and feed inside pen🤫🤫. Thanks KIPP.
Yes it does!
Ever tried picking earlage run it through 6910 cutter
We’d need an adapter plate
Did I miss high moisture corn in the big silo?
No you did not, doing that now 👍
yeah you got to watch them cows they like get out when they see gate open happing to us lot of times we would just laugh about at the end
Between silage and haylage, does the ag bag work better for one over the other?
We’ve never bagged hay, I’d guess corn silage bags better though
put that big hoss to work...rollin smoke brother...grab and growl..
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it
You said you were running beans thru the drill, didn't you mean wheat??? Or did I hear that wrong??
I meant we used it for beans in the past, this is wheat
@@KipSieglerFarming1 thanks for clearing that up cause I was like ummmm I've never heard of winter beans wont the snow kill the beans????? Lol love the channel good sir
what is the size of the ford tractor
That’s a 1510 we just sold that
Bigger is better but to big is a waste of money
Great video Kip!
Thanks!
