Hi, I'm happy to hear that my video helped you!..Those steel clips are nasty!..So be careful not to hurt yourself. My best method was placing one end to it's groove and holding the other end with locking pliers and force it to the groove and once they are both inserted tap with hammer slightly to make sure they are fully inserted...Wish you good luck!...
@@handyguy6273 Thank you I will try that. They are hard work. Thought the job was going to be easy 🙄 Is it possible to drive without them fitted? I may have to go to the garage 🙈
@@handyguy6273 12:35 you should have just gone tada... After fitting the clip. Looks like a lot less tension on yours compared to mine. *edit After doing the other side it was much less tension on the clip, got the difficult one on by bending it to its natural shape then reapplying a bit more tension when it was on again.
