- Who loves Banoffee Pie?! Me! And so does Dad.
Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
250g digestive biscuits
100g melted butter
75g dark brown sugar
x1 397g can of condensed milk
2 bananas (maybe 3 depending on size)
300ml whipped cream
small amount of milk chocolate for grating on top at the end
Method:
1. Crush your biscuits either in a blender or bash in a ziplock bag
2. Mix with the melted butter then press into a lined, round cake tin and put in the fridge
3. Put your dark brown sugar and condensed milk in a pan on a low heat and stir until combined, bring to a boil until it starts to lightly thicken. Leave to cool for roughly 1 hour.
4. When everything is chilled or called whip up your cream.
5. Start to assemble your pie by pouring your toffee onto you biscuit base, add a layer of chopped bananas, top off with your cream.
6. Finish your pie off by grating some milk chocolate on top.
Enjoy.......
