- Perch fishing on the Saginaw Bay and its tributaries is something that our father and grandfather took us to do very often growing up. It is a rich tradition in our family and I can tell you that catching huge perch gets us really excited. Today, Dad and James go out on a Saginaw Bay tributary and are able to catch a handful of perch that quickly turned into that nights dinner. In all they caught 23 keeper perch and had a great time together as father and son. That is what its all about right! God Blessed us with a great day in His country!! Remember to take your kids out fishing!!
