They don't have the ability to make such a nice TV play and let you disappoint! Taiwan is the orthodox Chinese civilization inherited the good traditional culture of China, but you think China is only a name. There are still good honest people especially in the country side where the big city corruption influence has lesser effect. But yes, in general, the ancient value of true love is rare now-a-day in China. One of the greatest piece of love story of the Butterfly Lover is on par with Romeo and Juliette. I love the theme music from Romeo Juliette but it is a minor music composition when compared to the Butterfly Lover violin concerto - you can listen / watch on multiple youtube sites.

Love this, the 1st story of the series. I'm so glad I bought the VCDs almost 20 years ago..I still have it..and the 2nd story, 'The Ghost Husband'/'Gui Zhang Fu'.. Not a fan of the 3rd story though..

this is too emotional to be real. This song is for sort of drama of exegerated love story. But the song itself is very well produced, I admit.
