I'd watch and listen to Freiburger anytime, much respect to him for having a good time and a great career revolving around hotrods.

Multiple websites lists him being born Aug. 21st 1946 and 74 years old but I knew he wasn't that old or that he has really found the fountain of youth. I love the whole gang, Freiburger, Finnegan, Dulcich, Tony, Lucky, etc.... Dulcich reminds me of a former neighbor I used to have across the street who worked on cars for a living.

I’m not sure where this moronic narrative comes from... they took their content off of a service that actively stifled their creativity and refused to acknowledge the quality of their content. RUclips doesn’t pay well enough to make produced shows like roadkill. Google is straight up evil and actively suppresses the popularity of automotive content, among other things, and they pay many times more for ad views if you are making a makeup tutorial than if you are building an engine. They didn’t sell out, they made a decision to move to a platform that didn’t treat them like the enemy. Frankly, I wish more automotive you tubers would take their content to MTOD, it would make it even more worthwhile. Just because you can’t afford a few bucks to offset the outrageous production cost of a show like RK doesn’t mean it was a bad move. Also... it’s “have”. Should have, would have, could have. Should’ve, could’ve, would’ve. You are conflating the word “of” with the phoneme at the end of “should’ve”. “Should of” has literally no meaning in English. “Of” means: “expressing the relationship between a part and a whole”. So what would “should of” mean?

@@mikescherrer4923 has nothing to with 5 bucks for mtod. If youtube was really the problem and there was no money to be made how are people like pewdiepie something like 50million from youtube, and the 8 year old kid Ryan with Ryan's world, making millions or Jeffrey star supposedly worth 200million from youtube don't tell me motortrend one of the biggest car channels on youtube couldn't support a show like roadkill? With a $500,000net worth..but that extra 5 bucks sure made a difference in there production huh with the all of new roadkill episodes oh wait nevermind they still produce the exact same if not less now 🤣🤣🤣

@@nathanbutler8240 Largely because they make garbage content on iPhones. RK is filmed by a crew, with real cameras. There are the few who have managed to game the algorithm while also producing good content, like VGG and Cleetus. They still mostly shoot inexpensive cameras, edit themselves, and for most of them it is their only job. Dave has a lot of irons in a lot of fires, the dude isn’t shooting RUclips videos in his spare time. The production quality of MTOD originals is miles above any RUclips content, except maybe Hagerty, who is definitely losing money on every video they share, because the channel is a marketing tool for their actual services. RUclips’s entire business model is toxic and takes advantage of creators. Creators rely entirely on google’s underlying advertisement delivery technology, I certainly wouldn’t want myself associated with 90% of Google’s advertising butt buddies. Making car content for RUclips is like making a conservative talk show for MSNBC. It’s like building a synagogue in Palestine. Google stifles anything that doesn’t match up with their political ideology.
