All right all right already; I'll buy one! I just bought a bargain one; and it works okay. But with the very thin blade on the Fiskars; I think it would work much better.
Fiskers hookaroon is absolutely junk use them for a bit and u will find out the tips break off. And good luck getting ahold of customer service the are almost impossible to get ahold of them.
I like mine alot, and at 70+ my back and knees do not like bending down to pick up rounds off the ground. I do like the fact that I can actually drag heavier rounds, rather than trying to pick them up!
BEST BACK SAVER EVER! Wish I'd had one 47 years ago...If you cut firewood, GET ONE!...OMG, such a great tool!
I'm hooked - will definitely buy one. Thanks for the informative video.

I just bought one, and received it yesterday, just one question. What are the notches for ? Just wondering.
According to their website, “toothed edges for improved grip.” Personally, I see no benefit from them.
Does the fiskar work good on oak and hickory(hardwoods).?Thats mostly what i cut for firewood? Thanks.
So long as the wood isn’t frozen, I’ve never had a problem with oak or hickory.
works with any wood and better on hardwoods when sticking in the end grain.
Good review, im looking for one, just not sure on brand/model.
Do you still like it? Have you found that it’s getting easier to get the wood off?
Yes, and it gets even easier with practice.
