Tesla parking brake failure fix

2013 model s
Caliper was stuck open so we couldnt install new parking brake pads
Only way to shut it was to take that screw out and put it back in where the notch closes
It got stuck open because the pad was so worn and short that the pin got stuck too far back
Tesla would slam on the brakes automatically and go into park when moving slowly without having your foot on the pedals.
This solved the issue and we were able to put the new brake pads in.
The tesla had no errors come up regarding this, we just noticed it when we were installing the pads

I used a torch to loosen the thread locker they use.

how did you get the pin out? mine is completely stuck
