Thank you for listening to my rambling. We are finally onto something. Also, you want to clarify that the reason I bring up money so often is that if I can get the money side of things working, it potentially allows me to go full-time and invest at least some of the money back into the channel and the community. Hope it makes sense!
no shame in discussing money! in Finland they don't bring it up, but I personally LOVe the topic, as money = meaning, energy, time, value, so what the heck haha
Bro, I am so proud of you. You've ended up in a really shit situation with your job and not being able to get funding because you were still self-employed, and you found a way to pull yourself out of it. That shit is hard to do. I wish you nothing but the best!
You did great. I am happy to see and hear how your idea is working. I realized that most people are getting confused when they relocate, even to Finland, where we have a lot of open information. And some people misunderstand or do not trust the state because of their previous experience. You are doing great, and I hope your idea will grow! Go, Aleksi! And, of course, your free content will bring these people. So, don't forget to create content.
This is a good idea! When I moved to Iceland, I couldn't get people to write me back about apartments until a local started helping me. I will definitely keep you in mind if I have the opportunity to move to Finland.
Discovered your channel this year, today is officially a full year since I started learning Finnish, your channel has been a huge help! I was really sad to hear the news you were stopping back then, and while I am not trying to build up any sort of expectations for the future, I'm just really glad things are seemingly positive for you! Onnea!
Hello, Aleksi. I was smiling during the video, because I'm really happy for you :) I admire your sincerity, and it gives me hope too. That one day I'll really love what I'll do. Best wishes!
I'm so happy for you. When I tried to move to Finland I needed something like this. I ended up having to leave. I'm a citizen through heritage but I couldn't find anywhere to live.
So so happy for you Aleksi! After following you for years it's so nice to see you have found your calling and also being so honest about it here! The service is a great idea and I know for sure I would use it if I was moving to Finland!
It is awesome to see good things happen to good people. You really seem to have found your passion, Aleksi! Congratulations on the new opportunities. All the best to you and your family. 🙂
You work so hard on this channel. Props to you! And helping people move to Finland is just the best. Removing that fear of moving to a new country. Imagine if other countries had this service as well! Glad to see things are going well for you!
Не все смогут жить в Финляндии, вечером страна вымирает и вы окажитесь один в пустом городе, у меня было ощущение что я на сцене и дома не настоящие, никого вокруг и я дна
I think that WTF - Welcome to Finland is a *great* marketing term - it's like "Finntastic", using familiarity (an already-existing word) but combined with something that's kind of "in your face", unexpected and is contrast to the the "welcome" part, so it creates additional attention, and using that and not bland marketing is playful - more attention from there, too.
Congratulations! I am very happy about your success, you deserve it! It's great that you're sharing this with us. As you mentioned this I recommend too to offer your experience and services to international operating companies. Some of them offer full relocation service as perk to attract skilled labour.
Congrats! Thankyou for all your help. Your vids have helped me immensely on my holidays and I have recommended your vids to all my friends & quite a few others too. Currently on holiday in your beautiful country.
Sounds amazing, I'm glad to hear you're able to use your skills, connection, knowledge and time to actually make money again. And I'd love to hire your services both in the short and long term - planning to move soon and stay long-term.
Congratulatio ns! Another idea you might be interested in is tourism. There are several people online who are tour guides in their countries who also have channels that make money independently from their guiding the tours, but related to the tourism industry. I dont know any specifics of it but there are a couple of them I watch, and I bet they would be happy to give you some ideas that they have used. Also, there are Facebook groups and pages about relocating to Finland. Have you looked at those, and offered your services there?
It's a good point, but I'm not into tourism or traveling at all, so it wouldn't make sense for me to pursue it. I have been creeping at the FB groups but haven't marketed there yet.
Probably as many people who are following you, I am so glad you feel that way and happy to see you reaching great results because you deserve it. Anyone can tell how passionate you are doing this and how much effort you're putting into it. Being humble, transparent, and willing to go that extra mile for your customers is what will make the difference. Well done mate, keep rocking! 💪😄
After summertime and paternity leave, people from my audience from Greece, may need your help. I will stay tuned with your announcements and when you feel it is the right moment to have more clients, I will ask for details. All the best in your new start!
Congratulations sir ! I was pretty sure it was a good idea ! I'm still very interested in the WTF as a customer for the future. Finland is just my dream country and it's my biggest dream and goal to live there.
Hey Aleksi, this is really great news, very glad it's started to come together and beginning to work out for you. Your perseverence is definitely starting to pay off 😊👍 I understand all too well how it feels to have a series of set-backs and unfortunate circumstances compounding, how frustrating it feels, but I've come to realise there's often 'another way to get there' if we keep trying to push through. It's also a very good sign that you're able to relate to the dificulties and talk about them, all part of the learning process. You may possibly recall that I started talking about moving to Finland from well over three years ago!! (where did the time go..!?)....but, despite many set-backs along the way, it's still my goal and I'm now very close to being able to acheive this - I hope to be making use of some of your services, but certainly, at least, finally making it to a meet-up very soon. I plan to visit Helsinki in late Sept as an initial 'check things out' prior to moving. As for the name of your business, I'm all for a bit of humor with titles of things, it's also how you originally conceived the idea, so I say stick to it, I mean...WTF...it works!! 😁 Keep the good/hard work up, persevere.
Welcome back stranger. Good to see you back on RUclips. I have been preparing to move Finland and your videos have been invaluable to me. If it’s financially feasible, I would totally use your services when moving. Also don’t feel bad about making money doing this. Anything that takes your time deserves compensation as all we have in life is time and we don’t know how much we have. It’s the most valuable currency!
I just need to find a job in Finland but the day I do you already know my husband and I are contacting you for help! We have been long time fans of your channel we even went on vacation to Helsinki and I was proposed to there!! We can't wait to return!
Hi Aleksi, I'm so glad to hear that you're doing better! Thank you very much for sharing your journey with us and being transperent all the time. Many you hear online only when everything is going well. You are truly an example of perseverance when life challenges you. Take your time to find your path step by step and gain new energy from what you like to do. I find the name WTF particularly unique and the service certainly offers great value for those starting a new life in Finland. Wish you all the best! ❤
Well done, genuine effort and kindness always pay off!:)) BTW, I got laid off as well recently, totally out of the blue as I thought this would never happen to me. Nothing is certain in this life, which is good I guess as it keeps us pushing our own boundaries. Take care and keep smashing it!
Sounds like you have it going well mate. Having done the move to Finland myself back in 2019 it was a little long-winded. I moved in August but didn't get my bank account until January because of the delays with getting my social security number. Having help with that would have been a god-send. I'm still thinking about a move back to Finland, I just need to get a few more exams under my belt and see where life takes me (It's been a chaotic few years). If I do decide to move back, I'll be in touch for sure. Best of luck!
Honestly, this is a great service. Navigating immigration and the bureaucracy of a new place is daunting, especially if it's not in English. I'd pay for that service. In my case, I'm trying to move to a country on the continent. I already lived there for 5 years and fell in love with it, but I was on a temporary research visa and not a work visa so it ended during covid. I'd willingly pay someone to help me find a job there. I speak the language and work in STEM, surely my field would be helpful and employable. I'd also love to pay someone to help me navigate a real apartment instead of temporary housing. It's a great service, good luck.
This is so exciting!!! I will be reaching out to you very soon, for help with figuring out the process around applying for dual citizenship - for someone (me) who is has Finnish heritage (my grandmother). Plus I have a few personal connections that could be helpful to you.
Hey thanks for making a great channel. I feel like there are not too many channel on Finland and yours is by far the most interesting. Any chance you will make a video of dangerous or dirty places to avoid in Helsinki? Good luck on your channel.

Well done, mate, you did it! I think this is a good idea and you have to follow your dreams! You know, we are thinking about moving to Finland. We visited Finland in this April and we loved it. Hi! Really love your videos, do you have advice on finding a job here? I'd love to see a video about it. I just moved to Helsinki :D

Are you taking your clients on their sauna experience??

Kippis!
Can you please make video about Student loan for international students in Finland.
I don't think it's available for foreign students.
Where can i purchase this service ?
When are you moving? I'm not currently taking more clients but I'm open to hear.

Hello sir,
My wife is a Bangladeshi dentist. She works in a Dental Clinic as a Senior medical officer since 2019 to till now. Now we want to shift my family to Finland. How can she her professional practice in finland?

Hi brother nice too meet you I am khan from Pakistan. How can I apply work visa or residence visa in Finland plz help
We don't have visas, but residence permits.
To get a work residence permit, you must get a job first.
We don't have a residence visa.
Even if I never move to Finland I still need a WTF T-shirt.
you can buy one from my store I believe.
I love puns, so keep the WTF 😅

you always sound like life is hard in Finland
Life is hard sometimes :I
So you help people move to Finland and then Finns are bragging about newcomers on Reddit /finland ;) ?
