My favorite verse is lean not to your own understanding - Proverbs 3:5-6. Sometimes we go through things and we don’t understand why but it’s important to not lean into your own understanding but to trust God with all your heart. We’re nothing without God.

Love this series. I find it so hard to just pick up and read my Bible sometimes, and often when I do I rush through and walk away not remembering a single point. These really help me when I'm in that rut 🌟
Verse 4 to 10 is my favorite because I know that grace is for everyone we all have to be grateful to Jesus and you don't have to boast about God grace even the unrighteousness can have it because of God great love and mercy my favourite verse in second heading is verse 13 to 21 bcs it doesn't matter how perfect you are or unrighteousness we all made one in christ if we believe that it is by his blood we are saved by God grace and we are equal in the eyes of God all thanks to christ and you dont have to work for it but believe and have faith in christ because we are God treasure all thanks to Jesus christ. Amen🙏🙏
This is my first encounter with your channel... Thank you for doing this... The analogy of Grace and faith as water through the hose was striking... And also the idea that all this is telling of God's character - Love... He sorts us out even when we were despicable...

Before listening/learning this chapter, I read a book that talks about yearning someone or something. I love how God affirms me through this bible study. I’m at awe of how he spoke to me tonight. His beautiful workmanship, and that’s ME! I am loved by him. ❤

I also use the Enduring Word Commentary (EWC) and at times I listen to his sermons and teaching videos as I go through the New Testament this year - using the Bible Project. This chapter had sooo much. I needed it broken down a bit. So found you! Just love it. I’ve read and studied the Bible yearly since 2005, when I was 51 and just about to retire. This year, I’m savoring God’s Word with my dear sister in law. She started digging in when she was 30. She’s now 65 and such an inspiration to me and SOOO many others. I love how you are digging in at your age! Keep it up! 🙏✝️💜⚓️ I LOVE how we are God’s beautiful poem. Wow! This helps me see even more of how AMAZING God is! I’m also studying 📖 Jesus’ parables. In Matthew 13:31-32. A new way to imagine it. We are the treasure! If so, then who is the Man? Hint: you hit on it in your journaling on Ephesians 2!

My main takeaway from Ephesians 2 comes from verse 10. Just like we cannot boast in the grace given to us, we cannot even boast in the good works we do on the other side of salvation. Why? Because it is not me who thought to do the works, because God had already planned them! It reminds me of what Jesus says in Luke 17:10 “So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty’”.
I really liked how you debunked the "God helps those that help themselves" myth by saying that we are helpless without God and His Son dying on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. (starting at 12:33)

I have tried to explain to people when I gift them things for no reason, I don't require a gift back. And my friend doesn't understand I don't think. I just like giving people gifts, especially my friends or coworkers. I don't do it to get anything back. I do it because I love them.
Good Works are still required post-justification otherwise it would suggest the believer wasn't not "ordained" or regenerated to know he or she shouldn't continue living in sin (clearly stated in Romans 6) if they want to be saved at the judgment.
