Please advocate for small local businesses more! My partner and I really enjoyed watching you guys go to the Lego store, especially when the owner said he had franchised it with his wife. It doesn't look like his store is that full... You could be in with a trick visiting local niche businesses to boost their economy! Love your videos ❤
back in my lego and ebay selling days, i would watch the lego official site and when they announced the retirement of a set i would go to my local walmart and buy up those sets and then hold them for around six months or so until they got sold out all over and then i would sell mine and make anywhere from $100-$200 a set.
By the title of this vlog, I thought you’d bought a random storage unit at an auction and were getting the items in it appraised, but this was way better! 🙌🏽
Y'all should really google lens the things you thrift before you buy them! Its so quick and easy to find the value! I screenshoted a few while watching, and it was a good thing you put the coke tin back!! Sending love from indiana!!!❤❤❤
As a LEGO (mostly sets) collector myself, this was really fun and interesting! We have a few Bricks & Minifig stores near me and they’re so fun to visit. LEGO isn’t just the little bricks from your childhood anymore and as a millennial it’s been really cool to continue to grow with LEGO! I started my collection by building a Christmas village-Sandee, I feel like you’d love that!
I totally would have took the cash and ran but having the in-store credit to bring the nieces and nephew's on their birthday is a great idea! PS. I always enjoy watching funny outros! Yaw'll have the best sense of humor. ❤
A tip for the next bin of LEGO you stumble across - use google lens and take a pic of a hat or an interesting chest piece and it should show you minifigs it goes to. Then you can try and match them up yourself (or do this for unique pieces too!) and you’ll have a higher chance of getting more money!
@@SandeeYaw awe bummer! If it’s there, get it. I know so many ppl at work alone who would buy that just to have in their office. Anything coke branded can sell for top dollar. Especially Christmas or kitchen related items 😊
It is very popular right now to make leggo figures of your friends/family to put into your leggo scenes. Maybe see if you can make little Sandee and Jarid figures?
I used to have a ton of lego growing up and i just got back into lego star wars a lot and started my collection and It's really exciting seeing you guys enjoy looking at everything in the lego store. (I haven't finished watching the video at this point but it's great so far)
Sandy, the clown you got looks like it could be part of the Sad Clown collection, they are usually paintings and the artist is unknown so lots of other artist starting painting their own versions and making figurines. They range from $15-$100/200, I would get it appraised since it looked legit. Also, loved the highlight on the Lego store, had no idea that was a thing! I'm into collecting discontinued sets so that is perfect! You both are so much fun
50 years experience here. Always take the cash, because there are many times when these types of stores close up and move shop and you're out your product and the money. Never buy items with chips or missing pieces, they become trash and take up space in your storage. Another tip, never walk away from your items when they are being appraised, because small items can go missing, damage could be done diminishing the value of your items. Never talk money within earshot of a buyer and never show your emotions regarding the item because that determines how much buyers or sellers will move on your item, raising or lowering the value.
Sandee and Jerid thank you so much for the uploads! You guys have inspired me to go thrift shopping for decor! We just moved into a new place and I cannot find anything I like in stores to decorate my walls. I’m definitely going to my local thrift stores for some decor!
I’ve been getting my best friend clown figurines i find at goodwill for years now as gifts and the two you saw are PERFECT!! Definitely get the clown appraised!! And I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for Sandy’s House of Merchandise!!❤❤
I love legos and this was so fun to watch! I would definitely go to a bricks and minifigs place and source things that I needed (or wanted). It's actually fun knowing that some of the pieces have been loved by other people and then you get to use them in your creations.
HELLO 🤗 BEAUTIFUL FUN & FUNNY YAW COUPLE Ive 2 ADD EDUCATIONAL as well THANK 4 Another GREAT FUN VIDEO & SHARING this Info about LEGOS that store Is 😍🤩😍
A big piece of advice for you. Get some sheets or something to cover up that shelf unit. Everything on there is going to get filthy dirty. We had a storage unit and dust would get in under the door and from other units and it’s not just dust, it’sdirt from outside! So many things were ruined, antique furniture, etc., that we did not have covered. Maybe it was just our unit, but better safe than sorry. Next time, we will get an interior unit.
Can we stop to take a minute to mention? How Sandy is absolutely glowing like to the point where I'm starting to think?Maybe they're keeping a secret from us.And do you guys have kids? Jarrett said for our kids When he was talking about the Inheritance😮❤ Anyways , just wanted to mention how beautiful you look ❤🎉
My parents got my siblings and I two SpongeBob Lego sets for Christmas and being kids we didn't keep the set built and the pieces got mixed into a huge tote. My brother and I both love legos again as adults and constantly talk about how much we regret mixing the pieces in because having those sets completed would be insane!!
Also, when thrifting to see if things are worth my money I'll use the google app and there you can take pictures of the item and on the shop tab it'll show you how much people are selling/ have sold that item for! (This also helps you see if an item is selling or if people just think something's valuable and it's not actually selling!)
23:02 my mom still has that same creepy clown lamp in her nursery/ spare bedroom. She got it and had it in her firstborn’s bedroom . It’s definitely from the 1970’s Small world!
They built a mini figs and bricks here in Kenosha Wisconsin. My child has recently started lovinggggg legos and I wanted to bring them there! I was kinda confused what it could be so watching this has made me want to go for sure!! Thanks guys 🥰
omg you guys should go to lego land ! idk if the foods any special but i’m sure theres enough to explore I haven’t been in like 10 years but I remember loving the vibes
Sandee!😞l feel l am missing you in your OWN videos?! So l checked..@ 8mins of you in a 28 min video today. I 💗you both but l want more of YOU! PLEASE ❤❤❤
That Goodwill is pricey! Our Goodwill's housewares are between .99-4.99! I'm in WA state and thought ours were bad! You guys will def make it all back and more tho, for sure. Great find on that clown! Looks very vintage!
When Jerid pulled out all of his Lego animals arranged on a tray 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I think you guys would have better luck and get more return if you listed your Lego stuff on eBay
So funnn! Now I wish I hadn't donated all my son's legos!! Sandee, that brown purse brand is pronounced "Espree." It was a popular French clothing & accessories brand in the 80s.
Please go to a goodwill outlet!! You pay by the pound it’s either stuff that doesn’t sell in the store or raw donations they don’t have time to put in the store!
Your doing eBay? Smart idea. I follow a lady (Crazy Lamp Lady) that posts her shopping trips to goodwill/flea markets and then shows how much she got for it on eBay. She has a large following and she sells some stuff for more than I would expect. Sometimes I think people are just buying it because she’s the one selling it lol. I bet you 2 could do well with it. Good luck. I know people locally that sell 1lb bags of Lego pieces for $12 a bag or more.
I started going through 27 years and 4 kids worth of Legos. I spent 3 days sorting by color and type and I'm only 1/4 of the way through. It is a painful process😂
I have some porcelain figurines that are stamped made in occupied Japan, so that would’ve been between 1945 and 1952, my mom told me that they were valuable so I wrapped them in bubble wrap and stored them in my closet because my kids were small at the time. I haven’t looked at them in a long time . I would love to see you guys find something like that, it would be so exciting, but I feel like there are so many stores that sell antiques that it’s hard to find people that are just getting rid of them not realizing that they are valuable
You guys should go to an abandoned storage unit auction!! ☺️ love watching you guys
By the title this is what I thought the video was about. They clickbaited me ngl
@@shoppertattoosameeee😂
I clicked so fast, My brain thought this video was going to be them at a storage wars 😂
Yes this would be cool to watch
Yes!!!!!
Sandy looks so good in this video, shes slaying. I love her hair and her outfit is so cute. She fr just has this beautiful radiance coming from her.

My first thought when you said storage unit was “YUUUPPPPPPP” iykyk
👀😂😂😂haven’t thought of that in a long time!!!
Oh gosh, I actually hated that guy 😅
That Lego store is actually so cool. Had no idea they were a thing
I've never heard of that either :)
Absolutely love when i refresh my subscription page at THE perfect time ☺️
The prices at that Goodwill were crazy! I think they’ve forgotten they’re a thrift store.
They are a for-profit store.
They're also in southern California.
Petition for a march shirt to say ' Just out of curiosity' ; haha you two are my fav comfort videos!
Or "something of that nature" lol
"is that the best you can do on that one?"

I loved the Lego store! 😍 the man who spoke to you guys was so sweet, you can tell he enjoys his store ❤️
I just love you guys! Jared said "out of curiosity" a lot. He doesn't need it, he can banter with the best!

i used to love legos when i was younger and i think it would be a lot of fun to get back into but where do you store the finished sets? :/
I totally would have took the cash and ran but having the in-store credit to bring the nieces and nephew's on their birthday is a great idea!

I work at Coca Cola and anything vintage coke can be sold for decent money. There are so many collectors out there. Nice choice Jerrid!
So bummed he ended up not getting it. We will have to go back and see if it’s still there 🤞
@@SandeeYaw awe bummer! If it’s there, get it. I know so many ppl at work alone who would buy that just to have in their office. Anything coke branded can sell for top dollar. Especially Christmas or kitchen related items 😊
I just googled the coke tin, and they're only going for $10 at the most! So that one worked out!😊
You should make a custom set of minifigures to represent all of you on Shane's podcast, would be so fun!
It is very popular right now to make leggo figures of your friends/family to put into your leggo scenes. Maybe see if you can make little Sandee and Jarid figures?
I just so happen to be building my Lego Princess Rapunzel Tower when I clicked to watch, so this turned out to be perfect timing! Love your videos!!!
WOOOO ITS WEDNESDAY! thanks for the regular schedule! Keep posting great content! Looking forward to watching this right NOW!

Y’all’s relationship is so inspiring and makes me happy. I love yall thank you for always making my day 💓
I would've been totally selfish and get the paintings AND the coke bottles, I couldn't believe you put those back! lol

always a good day when sandee uploads!!!
I love those frames!! Frames at Michael’s that size are at least 20 bucks and they are just regular schmegular so I’d so those are a win
How does some art (in frame) costs less than when the frame is by itself??
Absolutely love these videos❤❤
