Cataloging your wardrobe as you wear it sounds like a good idea! Anything that hasn’t made it onto the app by the end of the season becomes a candidate for decluttering.
I have been tracking usage of clothes for a couple of years now, and it is super interesting to see how much and how little I actually use things… « fun facts » : if you have distinct casual and work wardrobes, remember there is only about 25 weekends, or unless days, in a a fall/winter season (depending where you live), so if you wear jeans every casual day and you have 5 pairs of jeans, you only wear them on average over a season… so even if you fell you « wear them all the time » you have most likely only warn them around 10-15 times…. It’s simplified of course, but still… made me realise that I don’t actually wear things as much as I think, even if I feel I wear a bag, coat, pair of jeans etc ALL the time 😅 and my cost per wear is not that low… of course doesn’t matter in the same way for things you get gifted clothes, but for the rest of us.. worth thinking about 😊
You influenced me to buy the smooth burgundy classic Milo a few months ago and then on my own I had found the Basile about a year and a half ago and I kept eyeballing this bag. I was debating on the colors and I kept going back to the burgundy and then I kept debating and then I missed a few sales where I could have literally got it for like $280 a year ago!I just kept waiting and waiting so I got a pretty good discount and I got the extra matching pouch also and of course the scarf that comes with it.. I finally pulled the trigger in August so I have that in my collection now too! I feel like it's a little more durable than the smooth burgundy Milo classic. I haven't even carried that Milo yet because I'm so afraid of scratching it! I LOVE this Le Petit Apollon!
Hi dear Katie! I'm impressed by Fabrique's generosity! lovely pieces, probably the only trench coat that has really stole my heart so far. :) Everything you've shown us is so cute and I'm really glad your channel has grown sooooo much and is getting the recognition it rightfully deserve. Ok, I've downloaded Indyx last spring and started using it, but it takes so much good light and effort to get everything looking nice that I'd stopped. I promised myself I'd start using it again now...and I must find the courage to start photographing my FW wardrobe LOL...
Did you try to find the photos of your clothes at the retailer websites or just generally online? It’s such a game changer when you can find the professional pictures of your clothes and just download it, save a lot of time and frustration. I personally find it hard to get the colors and proportions right as well so I totally understand.
@@dariajabonska3303 most of my clothes are from Sézane and they don’t offer a png picture of the item on their site/app. That would have made it 10x easier, like you said 😅
I’m not going to lie . For a long time I was totally against replicas but the bag on *suluxy* are making me change my mind!!!!!!! Inflation is crazy and even contemporary brands are increasing their prices to rival luxury prices im definitely looking at this differently.
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
The pieces from Fabrique are lovely. Would you buy them with your own money? I think that’s the best litmus test. If I were to buy them all that’s almost $3000 AUD which is a lot of money! Lucky for me they don’t ship to Australia so my money is safe 😂 I love the Alex Mill cashmere jumper too but at $660 it’s not in the budget either. I think it’s great you’re getting gifted items, you deserve it for your hard work.
@@pixi78 thank you! I definitely would, obviously not all at once, like you said. 😅 But when I work with brands I want to show a selection of the best items that I’d buy from the website. Thank you so much for your support, I really appreciate it. The thing with sponsored content or gifted items, often they all come at once and it seems a lot, whereas in October I don’t have anything lined up or planned. I wish it was a bit more spread out, but I’ll only ever say yes to things I’d actually buy. Often I get sent things that I don’t end up showing because the quality isn’t quite there or they don’t fit etc. 😊
@@katie_louise oh I think the start of a new season is always going to be when companies will gift as they want customers to see their new items. No issues with the volume of gifted things you showed, I think it’s pretty obvious you don’t take everything offered and are still considering whether gifted items are going to be able to be incorporated into your wardrobe. I can’t wait to see how you style your new items. Thank you for your integrity! 💕
My suede shoes transfer onto my socks, etc…even after I sprayed them so I would definitely be worried which is why I purchased the same bag in the leather. Definitely I think there is a chance of color transfer but the bag is gorgeous in suede!
The black cardigan with white trim is absolutely beautiful! Also so glad more and more brands are giving you the recognition you deserve! Love your videos 😍
I enjoy your style so much. We are different race wise but we have the same colour season and similar body type and style it’s fascinating. Love that burgundy is on right now ❤
I use my *luxrul* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Hey lady!! I own some authentic and I have owned some replicas. The *suluxy* that I have owned in the past I’m not gonna lie they have been spot on the real deal. Honestly to each is own do whatever makes you happy at the end of the day.
I love that shoulder bag I am putting in on my Wishlist in chocolate colour in leather version Would you maybe do this scratch wardrobe version but on summer wardrobe would be really helpful thanks 😊
Hi Katie! Thanks for sharing these mid range bag brands! I am debating on getting the Bob Ore Taylor tote or the manu atelier tote du jour in the larger size. I know they’re TOTALLY different styles but would love to get your opinion on the quality comparison of the 2 bags since you have both!
Ooh yeah they are quite different so hard to compare! The quality is pretty on par to the price, the Bob Ore doesn’t feel quite as premium but it’s half the price of the Manu Atelier. If you want something really luxe, I’d go for the Manu Atelier. I love the Bob Ore as well though, it definitely feels more Spring/Summer to me because of the woven design so depends what you’re after!
@@katie_louise thank you for sharing! I live in Southern California so I think Taylor tote can also work in the winter times! But I am potentially looking for a bag I can use with a laptop so maybe the Tote du Jour is the way to go. Some colors in interested in for the tote du jour is sold out so I will see if I can wait for a sale and also for those colors to return :)
I like the scalloping on the cuffs and hem of the first sweater. Hate to say it, but the trench coat looks like the habits that Dominican nuns wear, except for the color. The Shirley jacket looks fabulous. The shirt with the embroidered collar is also pretty. The suede bag is very nice. For dye transfer, it depends on the quality of the dye. It can. You might try waterproofing it before you take it out in the rain. Love the turtleneck sweater. Burgandy is such a good color on you.

Hi Katie, I’m wondering what jackets and coats do you wear in winter in the UK? I’m moving there this fall and I would like to avoid wearing a puffer jacket if possible 😅 thanks !
@@martaqqqq ooh exciting! I have to admit, I do sometimes resort to a puffer jacket 😂 on the coldest days or for things like dog walks. I was actually planning on doing a coat/jacket collection video soon so you might want to stay tuned for that!
