The year this game came out, I got it for Christmas from my brother-in-law who knew I was a fan. I got home from his house on Christmas Day, popped it in the PS2 and I beat it in about 3 hours. I know you didn’t review the gameplay but it is a MONOTONOUS button-masher. It requires no skill other than being able to tap-tap-tap. It’s like Dance Dance Revolution with gabagool.

That being said, he himself violates canon by making Tony a teenager during the Newark riots, as opposed to the elementary school kid we see in the series. BTW, jokes on you, Kino. It doesn’t make sense for Chris to act that deranged due to jealousy over Tony, but the game makes a good point still: everyone is so petty, one guy is willing to set you up to die because he’s jealous that you’ll win his boss’ heart. The boss, meanwhile, doesn’t give a fuck about you.
Played this game with my friend last December because we were curious how bad it was. I don't think there was a single moment where we weren't laughing or getting frustrated with how psychotic the game was

It's worth taking into consideration that the way the characters were portrayed in the series doesn't necessarily reflect the despicable things they could've done off screen. Christopher could've totally been a giant scumbag off screen in ways that would make his character unlikeable, more like how he's portrayed in the video game

For me it was the same way with Sonic 06. I was running around talking about my adoration for all aspects of that game and then read the reviews and was shocked.
I like to say that this game can be set in the gta universe itself. It makes sense that Joey LaRocca isn’t a character that exists in the Sopranos show itself. But there are the Sopranos glorified crew that exists in the gta universe. Maybe set in the fictional country of Vespuccia. Somewhere in the Americas. It makes sense that Italian explorers contribute colonization for the Spanish and Portuguese empires themselves. And so maybe there’s a sopranos gang that exists. Also it can make the wire characters exists in the same gta universe.
I know this is an April Fools video but still I wanna comment some of my thoughts. Ofc the game is ridicilous since they had to shoehorn violence in one way or another. I agree that Christopher is shown way too aggresive and even traitorous but I can kinda see his frustration. Joey rised up the ranks way quicker than him (which is the game's pacing's fault, lets be serious), which bothered Christopher in earlier seasons that why wasn't he made yet. And Joey is the son of a rat so that frustrated and made him jealous even more. The rest of the crew had their doubts too even if they were not that evil. Tony and Joey bonded when he said he didn't talk about AJ's party because he wouldn't turn his back on someone which made Tony realize that he is different than his father. Oh and another thing they got wrong is how Vito was in Bing hanging around with girls. You might say he is trying to blend in but I really don't think so. Even with its ridicilous faults and being a shovelware I enjoyed it. The cast getting involved in it was a big surprise as well.
Yeah if it was executed better and you actually got to interact with the character more, it would have been a good story for Christopher. Also I was going to do a section of the video on all of Vito's gay innuendos, but the video was getting too long as it was

If you want a good movie/tv show game, play The Godfather game or Scarface: The World Is Yours. Both are sort of knockoffs of GTA-style gameplay, but they're both pretty good for tie-in licensed games.
If I had known this game existed I’d probably would have bought it since I loved the show so much. I would have been around 16-17 when this game came out and when I had a ps2. I never even knew about it however.
