    Thanks for the great video. I just did the same install tonight. Pain in the ass. Passenger peg assembly was harder to get out than I expected. Also difficult getting those rear 6mm bolts out without rubbing the plastic exhaust shield! Despite laying a towel over the tire and taking all precautions I managed to still drop one of the spacers into the abyss. 30 minutes later with a mirror and magnet (multiple f bombs and sweating my ass off) I was able to recover it thankfully. Nothing is easy it seems for me 😂

      Anyone have a part number for the spacers? I called my local dealer and the parts guy is telling me that the spacers only come with a new exhaust. I am sure they will be out of business soon enough because people drive 3hrs out of their way to buy bikes/parts from the next nearest dealership to not deal with them. Sad, I know.

    When doing a job like this, I alway use a big towel underneath where I'm working, so if the bolt drops it lands on the towel, reducing the chance of it going missing in the engine compartment. 👍

    On my 2023 SFv2, spacers were unnecessary. Just replace bolts with shorter ones. Recommend stainless. Same as panigale, but mine was not removed as easily as video demonstrated.

      I don’t have as much room as Dario for some reason. Same bike and everything. I’ve tried for weeks to get those spacers on and I just can’t get them on! So you aren’t using them. Do you have plastic rubbing plastic?

    • @kyle1175243
      @kyle1175243 Месяц назад

      @@donniejean I'm not. There were already some spacers there. Were you able to get to the 6mm bolt holding the passenger pegs from under the seat? The spacers I used were captive in the passenger pegs. Can't post a pic here.

  • @artistintheambulance

    Great info… but before telling people to go buy fasteners from your local hardware store isn’t the best advice. It’s important that you ensure that you meet or exceed the oem fasteners tensile rating. You’re better off going to an engineering trade supply store so you can buy quality high tensile bolts instead of ungraded or low tensile bolts 😎

      Hey Dario I'm in Des Moines, Iowa. We have one Ducati dealer in the state. First time looking for it I was like yeah probably gonna be a fancy ass building and showroom, Italian exotics and all that. Nope, literally a house in a residential area. Look up motosports Des Moines, you'll see it haha. Great folks to work with, I guess that's all that really matters. Just wish they had current popular models like the V4 and Streetfighter to come look at.
