We have 4 single head Barudans, 1 6 head Baurdan, 1 6 head SWF, and an antique 3 head Brother. The SWF was purchased during a business closing, bought it to get his large clients. We use our Barudans 95%, SWF and brother sit idle. People just getting into this industry are mislead by the cheaper brands. Which is a good thing if they are in our area! Our Barudans make our clients very happy with the quality. They can handle the smallest details in designs. When we get a large project, we will sew out a sample on Barudan, SWF, and Brother to see if we can use all heads. 75% of the time we shut down the others because they can't embroider same quality. They can only produce simple logos. I am so glad I purchased Barudans when I first started my business. SWF was just a way to get more clients since the company was shutting down. Brother was an antique, I had to have it. Pantogram has two huge squares on each side. Was intrigued by it. Have had it two years, hasn't run more than 100 pieces. We average 7000 pieces per month just using 10 Barudan heads.
do you still recommend barudan? i am looking into the pro 3 single head to start off with vs a zsk or tajima or melco emt 16x. something tells me barudan is the right choice for me.
I LOVE BARUDAN! Scrapped 6 head SWF for metal along with Brother 3 head. Decided to sell Barudan 6 head and some single heads as i was retiring early to take care of my Mom. Unfortunately she passed away nov 2017 and my best fried/biz partner passed june 2017. So back to work. 4 single head Barudans, 3 used from shop, and 1 new one. I had 2 at my friends home, and one extra stored at another freind's shop. My Barudans are 15 yrs, 14, 13, and 6 months old are still running great. Won't run anything else. You couldn't give me another brand... they SUCK! There is a BIG difference in machines! Only Barudan for me.
Wow you came back and updated, nice. I am thinking about getting either a Melco, ZSK, Barudan or Tajima. I am starting to lead towards a Barudan because of the stitch detail. I will be doing mostly hats and I need precision.
Do you know how to service these I have 12 of these machines and only 4 working the service guy will not come and serivce it. Do you have a video on how to do it yourself?
Did you make your payment? If not it will shut off. Must get code from Barudan to restart. Even had an issue with paying cash in full until they sent the code.
