But financially I wasn't safe in Sweden, so I had to move again. Where I am now I can have both, nature and the financial safety. I have to have forests and water around me otherwise I start dying inside; I literally sink into severe depression and can't leave the house other than to work if I'm not surrounded by green and water. I am also really happy with my new apartment, which is absolutely stunning, and with my new landlords who seem like wonderful people. The new job also pays well. I am indeed hoping that this next year of my life will be all about healing in nature, and in the comfort of my new home, and about relearning to feel safe as well, because Gaia and my light mentors have clearly got me, they've got my back. However this reading tonight was a confirmation reading for me. Today my second oldest son graduated high school. And the realization of my two sons childhood and our relationship will never be what I've been longing for. All these years, I've thought expressing my feelings about wanting more time and being closer to them.
Would at least let them know that? I love them and want them to be a bigger part of my life. Not understanding that was probably just creati tug war with their mother. Unfortunately she suffers from mental illness. And doesn't realize Making our sons choose one or the other parent.
It's so damaging. So my Epiphany today was. I Can't Express my feelings without putting my son's in a position of guilt or sadness. I can't invite them to go camping and fishing with my family. Because everytime last minute their mother makes them cancel. They have to abide Because she's there's lifeline. I never had one Christmas morning a holiday in a rented cabin with my family. She's canceled every single one of them over eighteen years. And every single time It broke my heart. When they were younger I would tell them it's okay Go spend it with mom and grandma and grandpa. To spare their feelings letting me down. And that evolves into the Norm. So as they got older I slowly express More and more.
That I wanted more time with them. And no matter how cool and understanding I was about it.
It Always put them in a position of Having to let me down Last minute. It's Happened so much that's our dynamic now. So, as my second son graduated, I am myself have graduated from the idea Of Giving my boys options and opportunities to be in my life. I just have to let them decide On their own when they want to if they want to come spend time with daddy. Now they're both off college. Realist.
Ically if if you're gonna be at a point where there have time to bring me back into their life won't be until they probably have kids. And with that realization was a great sense of relief from being let down, A great deal of sadness for obvious reason, And i'm gonna Have a Ungodly Amount of hope that it will happen but it hasn't yet. So as she read this.
