Charles' car is a thing of beauty
Still think the pista is iconic. Also his new Daytona is gorgeous. He's been driving that around town this week.
I can't believe the drivers car park is 80% basic. You would think it's a marketing opportunity missed
I thought so too. Maybe it’s a security issue? Lowkey cars help keep them under the radar when away from track? But it seems they should be able to figure it out though. Missed opportunity indeed

When a McLaren F1 driver (E.g Lando) drives a McLaren road car, it strengthens the connection between the brand’s racing image and its consumer products (high performance cars), enhancing public perception and loyalty.
By Lando driving a Mercedes to a Grand Prix, where there is significant exposure -such as photos and videos like this - rather than a McLaren car the opportunity to promote the McLaren brand is missed.

i took the train from the track on sunday it was indeed a disaster 😂 had no idea what was going on because nobody spoke english (not even the police)
Anyway after hanging around the nice town of imola for a few hours more i was back in Bologna at 11 pm.
But nevertheless i loved the experience very much and enjoyed every second of it ☺️
(it was the first race i‘ve ever watched live, definitely not my last) 😮💨
I've been to Imola for the race half a dozen times from 1989. The number of people trying to get into the trains in either direction has been bad but it never took more than an hour to get on a train.
A stands for Aperta; meaning Charles' car also has the roof going down :)

My French company car back in the late eighties / early nineties was an Espace Turbo D. It was a second generation Espace as I remember.

Just a sidenote, the 'A' in the Ferrari Leclerc was driving stands for 'Aperta' which means it is also convertible like Sainz's Roma.

You would have thought the Williams drivers would have used Mercedes . The 918 Porsche the ultimate hybrid also as I'm English noticed it had a UK private plate on it. This weekend for the drivers must be fantastic the most iconic track GP and nearly all of them don't need to travel

Still find it strange that McLaren don't see a marketing benefit in having their drivers drive McLaren's into the track.

In Vancouver Canada dealers are offering $14K in rebates. It's not a good selling car. I test drove the GT and its a very bad interior compared to a Genesis or popular Germans. The steering was OK and it does 0-60 in 3.5 but Id be embarrassed to daily drive it. The cost is about $60K once the rebates kick in. Killer is - Customers need to pay tax on the full amount then the 3 different rebates are given to that customer. Gov't hates competition...LOL.
