  • The descendants of Prophet Muhammad PBUH through his daughter Fatima AS through gherkins Imam Hassan AS and imam Hussein AS are respected, honoured by the title Syed for males and Syeda for females.
    Why is that so?
The Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the Syed or leader of all of Allah's creation.
His daughter Fatiha az Zahra AS has been referred to as Sueda tul Nissan Alamin - Leader of the women of heaven and world ofgreen(verifiable from Hadiths or traditions and saying in the six canonical works or sahihi sota - you can search it on google) and her son-s Imam Hassan AS and Imam Hussein As are referred to by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH as Syed tul shabab e jannah - leaders of the youth of paradise. (Verifiable in Sahih sita as above)
They have also been purified by Allah in the verse of purification chapter 33 verse 33 of Holy Quran.
They were under the cloak - Hadith e Kiss (verifiable in Dahih sita).
Furthermore, Hadith Thaqlain or Narration of the the two weighty thing being the Quran and Descendants of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, who if you follow you will not go astray till the day of Judgment.
King Abdulla of Jordan and King Muhammad V of Morroco are descendants of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
Those who rejected their leadership namely ovethrew them in coups Murmur Gaddafi of Libya- King Idris and Bath party of Iraq under Saddam Hussein in Iraq, the consequences are visible. Only the connection is not made due to ignorance 9f history and Sahih sita.
This view of Syed and Syeda is also sjared by Sunni scholars including a leading contemporary Hanafi school scholar Dr Tahir Qadri. I will attache a link to his talk..
