XD sole reason for failing may not have been because of no SBMM but if you think that had nothing to do with it idk what to tell you. There’s more “casual” gamers than there is non casual, if you like a game and want it to succeed objectively then yes, you have to have SBMM it is what it is Does that mean it has to be as aggressive as it is in COD now? No, but there definitely needs to be some. I played XD for over 150 hours and was avg so nobody can try to discredit what i’m saying using the “you hate comp” angle. We’re not kids anymore; most ppl work full-time, have a family and kids, they just wanna get on the game and chill sometimes, although i’m not in that demo I can see how “sweating” 24/7 isn’t appealing
My personal theory is, because ubi is selling they have to shutdown xdefiant. xDefiant is a mix of every Ubi IP. If they want to sell of some IP`s they cant own a game with the IP in it.
The unfortunate thing is you can’t even download the game now if you didn’t already have an account before the shutdown announcement. I do hope maybe someday this game could be revived but it seems like a 0.0001% chance now.🙁

Aren't you embarrassed that even as a grown adult you still have a childish level of entitlement?

Ya I guess but they could always put a contingency in the sale of say Far Cry that any Assets already in use for Xdefiant can remain untouched
The fact ppl defend things like sbmm or various other practices of companies is honestly alarming
