I think you should also start making casitas with full off grid solar power and compost toilets many people are now choosing compost toilets. Also small ship stoves would fit just fine in the Casita gas or wood burning. There would be no need for a black tank with a compost toilet.
Great idea. Maybe Casita can offer it as an option someday. I do see a lot of RV owners changing to composting toilets and adding solar on the roofs, especially if they boon dock a lot. Thanks for watching.

I am 5' 8". The inside height of the Casita is 6 ft.

I was wondering if I couldn’t get the 2020 Liberty deluxe model with a two burner cook top instead of the two like it use to be in former models.
That would be a question for the sales team at Casita. I don't see that as an option on the website. Maybe you can order a trailer without a stove installed and get a local rv dealer to install a two burner.

After watching this, I am seeing that it is the Liberty Deluxe and not the Independent Deluxe that I was thinking of getting. This one works much better on a lot of different aspects. I like the separate bed in the back, but you still have a lot of space in the aisle and the seating is much more comfortable. This one will go on my list for the future. Thank you for sharing.

I have a older Casita, I really like, but I don't like that you can't take the screens off the windows to clean them!!
That is frustrating.
How much head room is there in the shower. I'm 6'2" and wonder how cramped I would be in there. Thanks for a nice look at the trailer.
I will get back to you... it may be a little tight, I am 5'8" and you can see in the video how close I am to the vent fan.
At 5'9" my head has about 2" inches of headroom
I would be more worried about that tile rack. I would have to shower with the door open!
Now that you have reviewed all of the models and traveled in yours for awhile would you still choose the Liberty Deluxe? We are selecting our model and would welcome your insight on the advantages of the Liberty. We would just have two in the trailer 98% of the time. Thanks
Yes... we would stay with the Liberty Deluxe model because of our situation with Sunny. The only other one we considered was the Spirit Deluxe. We decided against that one because of the need to get up during the night for the restroom and the person in the back having to climb over the one in the front on the double bed. Also, when the bed is always down, you have to climb into the bed to reach the back overhead storage areas. The Spirit is a good choice for those who don't mind sleeping on the double bed and dealing with nighttime wakeups. The Liberty, without a dog kennel and using the standard table in the back gives you a large dining area and additional hanging out seating on the side if you use the side benches like a single bed.

They are 24" wide and 81" back to front.
Love your videos, but I must be missing something - How is this one different from the Independence?
The width of the benches is very different. I do give a measurement in the video and talk about that.
I see it's wider than the independence so more room to move around. I'm still straining on the video to see for any plug ins in the kitchen area for slow cooker etc. Can you point them out on one of your videos thanks.
The only plug is to the left of the sink under the overhead cabinet. I will point that out. Thank you.
Just found your page, joined all your sites and looking forward to your adventures. If you don’t mind can you tell me the towing and none towing gas mileage on your Jeep. I’m looking at the same setup, at this time I may go with the 6 verses the V8. If you have any thoughts on what engine that would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
I find the V6 to be plenty of power for towing the Casita. We can accelerate and pass on hills, even in the mountains without any problem. In normal towing on flat to lower US hills/freeways, we average 17 MPG at 63 MPH. Without the trailer, we average 23 MPG combined freeway/city driving. I like the Jeep a lot.
Thank you for the video, but I have question regarding the black water tank. I noticed that some newer models travel trailer's ( not the casitas) have the black water flush inlet water connection, so how does one flush out the black water tank on the casitas? And can one get one installed on the casitas ? Thanks again. Appreciate the videos.
On the Casita, you must take a water hose into the bathroom through the small window to do any heavy cleaning/rinsing of the tank. When dumping, I am outside and Cindy is inside and when the black tank empties, she fills the bowl with water using the flush pedal twice to do a quick clean. We find this works well and almost eliminates heavy duty cleaning except maybe once a year. We also often add two bowls of water to the tank and add ice when moving from one location to another and the ice sloshing around cleans the tank.
