Hello, It's really amazing to see your video. Kudos to you for making there up!! I have a question though. I am planning to hike next week to Schrecksee. Since you have hiked (I assumed this last month maybe ...as your video is uploaded in July), could you please tell me whether the snow is still there up above? Is the lake still frozen? Would you define the trail as slippery? Since I am a real beginner, any sort of suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Hi... Thank you. No there is no snow at the top, around Schrecksee, and lake is not frozen since this is summer and temperature was around 27°c. You may see some at the top of mountains which are over the Schrecksee lake. We are also beginners, and don't have European level stamina 🤪, so we took 5.30hours to reach to top instead of 3.30hrs as specified there. The trail is very slope and have many round stones which are slippery. So be careful. Parking charge is 10euros. Try to start hiking in the morning itself.
