So, I'm from Brazil and I'm taking english classes. I almost could understand perfectly what ZeusesCloud is saying in his videos. And this is what a love about this channel. Its very intuitive, he explains every goddamn thing, and I also learn how to do with english every day. Thanks a lot for you beautiful channel. :)
Elemental and soldier td I loved to play. Think one was called grass td? Some versions the air levels would be too hard due to clumping or made 2 easy with single line movement.
How i can play too ? I mean i know how to play warcraft3 play it beffor 10+ years with one program call it garena but this is not the same program :D So what i need to play it in this days ? to pay?
If you are looking to play the game legally you need to purchase the game for $30 and install it through battle.net. I made a video showing how to do this: ruclips.net/video/9j4x52W798Q/видео.html
am i missing something or is this just kinda a junk food-y map, in the sense of not being devoid of depth but still mostly being a way to press buttons and watch numbers go up for some relaxed, if apm-heavy gratification ( which granted makes it less junk food-y than the more simplistic hero arenas where you a-click into camps and watch your hero raise their numbers on their own, but still ) like i can tell that there are pivots for decision making through those specialty towers, but it seems like it mostly just comes down to figuring out the building pattern that optimizes your income without leaking. the only answer to the question of "should i be building another unit?" is "if it gets you more income" and while your tower count and rate of upgrading them definitely matter, it only seems like it matters as far as how efficient you can be with how much income you're losing out on because of it i mean it certainly still looks like a fun way to kick back, think economically, and watch a bunch of your dudes run it down, it just seems like that's about as far as it goes and it also doesn't seem that complicated to optimize to the point of stomping anyone who wanders into your lobby
As you said the strategy for this game isn't particularly deep. It mostly comes down to preventing leaks while maximizing your income. It is just a fun map to play every now and then if you are looking for a relatively short game.
Played this back in the day with my mate against asians (they can only learn how to play a game by copying other players) with a setting that disables vision of the enemy base (notice how brsidell is able to check what towers the enemy is building) so they couldn't copy our strategy. We would play 2v6 (the map had three teams/sides instead of only two) and we won every time. The strategy isn't deep, but you need to focus on maximizing income as much as possible and only build just enough towers to survive - no more than that. You also need to have a lot of faith, because if you're dying often the best thing to do is to keep sending more troops to distract the enemy team from sending more (notice how brsidell stopped sending troops whenever he was building more towers to stop leaks? That means the enemy got a chance to rest because he wasn't sending troops). Think of it this way: If you send more troops than you build towers, then the enemy has to build more towers and send less troops, which means you can build less towers and then send even more troops. It's a feed back loop that quickly gets out of control and you can easily win long before reaching the point where you need to upgrade your creep builder.
You purchase it through the battle.net launcher. I made a video showing how to buy the game and play custom games. ruclips.net/video/9j4x52W798Q/видео.html
